Ticketing Officer

 

  • Process air documents through GDS, process all amendment types as well as processing refunds with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Read, interpret and apply airline’s agreements/Deals.
  • Provide technical assistance to sales/Support representatives via chat or email.
  • Process sales through back-office, received through different channels.
  • Provide feedback on work processes for areas of improvement.
  • Monitor progress towards achievement of plans.
  • Follow up on pending cases.
  • Interact with different consolidators/airline representatives.
  • Execute specific tasks assigned by Leaders/Managers.
  • Communicate with the airlines/suppliers to get the needed waivers if applicable.
  • Perform other duties assigned by direct manager.

 Bachelor’s Degree.Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience.Good knowledge of the Travel industry is a must.Different GDS’s knowledge (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo) is a must.Communication and Presentation skills.Planning and Organizing Skills.Customer Orientation.Team Player.Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.Problem-solving skills.Negotiation skills.Patience, compassion and empathy.
