Misr El Kheir Foundation (MEK) is now hiring Staff for EU funded “ Equitable and safe access to educational services for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in hosting communities project “ in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and Aswan with high migrant, Refugee, and Asylum seekers population densities to provide quality education services and create an encouraging safe, and inclusive learning environment through renovating and equipping public schools with education-related tools and technology equipment. In addition, building the capacity of teachers, social workers, and psychosocial support specialists. The project is intended also to the selection of CBOs operating in targeted communities, with clear fair selection criteria, and build their operational capacity to be able to carry out engagement activities for refugees, assess their needs and develop responsive interventions.
Candidate’s Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily project activities of the project.
- Summarize, evaluate, and update regularly the progression of work carried out following the established planning schedules.
- Maintain regular contact with stakeholders and partners.
- Provide the General Coordination with activities-related feedback and systematically report in writing any concerns that may arise.
- Brief, supervise, and perform evaluations of project tasks.
- Write the regular-basis activities reports.
- Supervise, facilitate, and support the local team as well as a main liaison point between the offices.
- Be in charge of the administrative and logistics management: supervise
- Engage with partners in each community.
- Actively participates in outreach activities together with the capacity building team, with a view to sustainability and meaningful impact for social change.
- Involved in the production and dissemination of community-tailored awareness materials.
- Follow up with partners for the implementation plan, particularly collaborations with relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with the team to implement capacity-building activities for target beneficiaries.
- Contribute to the capacity-building interventions to build the capacities of all beneficiaries together with the stakeholder engagement representatives.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in Arabic and English languages.
- Experience in preparing correspondences, written reports, and presentations, related to the Project.
- Coordinate all administrative activities with internal sectors and departments within MEK and support the work of project staff.
- Maintain strong and continuous communication channels with all the Project’s stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on the progress of all project activities, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
- Ensure the alignment of all activities and smooth communication between all involved parties.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or any related technical/business field, or equivalent formal education degree with two additional years of specific experience in the field.• 3+ years of management experience on large-scale international projects programs. • Incumbent must meet project management requirements and possess comprehensive knowledge of industry standards. • Good command of written and spoken English and Proficiency in MS Office. areas.
