We’re Hiring And I’ll Be Honest With You About What That Actually Means I’ve been running a dental clinic long enough to know that the difference between a clinic that runs like a well-oiled machine and one that runs like a broken drill is almost never the dentist. It’s the person holding everything together behind the scenes. That person is what we’re looking for.
Dr. Adel Ramadan Dental Clinic in Dahab is hiring a Clinic Administrator, full-time, on-site, serious role for a serious person. Gender doesn’t matter. Attitude does. Fair warning: This post is longer than most job ads. That’s intentional. There’s also a small attention test buried somewhere inside it. We’re not telling you where. We’re not telling you what it is. But when you reach out, we’ll know immediately whether you actually read this, or just skimmed it and hit send.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:This isn’t a “sit at the front desk and smile” job. If that’s what you’re looking for, this isn’t it.• Appointments & Scheduling — Own the calendar. Build it, manage it, protect it. Patients call, patients cancel, patients show up unannounced. You’re the one who keeps that from becoming everyone’s problem.• Patient Records Management — Maintain accurate, organized, up-to-date records. Paper or digital, it doesn’t matter, what matters is that when someone asks for a file, it exists, it’s correct, and you can find it in under 60 seconds.• Accounting & Billing — Track revenue, manage daily settlements, handle invoicing. You don’t need to be a CPA. You need to be someone who takes numbers seriously and doesn’t let things “sort themselves out.”• Staff Coordination — Assist in sourcing, onboarding, and managing clinic support staff including nurses and dental assistants. This means you’re involved in hiring, not just greeting new people on their first day.• Operational Projects — We’re building systems, appointment systems, accounting systems, workflows that actually work. You won’t just use these systems. You’ll help establish them.• External Errands & Logistics — Some of this job happens outside the clinic walls. Sourcing, follow-ups, administrative tasks that require someone who can move and execute independently. Hours: Saturday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMLocation: Dahab, South Sinai — on-site, non-negotiable Accommodation: Provided
What We’re Offering:• Salary: Starting at 15,000 EGP, negotiable based on real qualifications and demonstrated experience, not just years on a CV.• Accommodation: Provided. Dahab is not a punishment. It’s genuinely a good place to live if you’re the kind of person who can focus and perform without needing a city to distract you.• A role with actual scope — You won’t be fetching coffee and filing papers indefinitely. If you’re good, this grows.
The Skills We Need:• Functional Arabic and English — spoken and written. Not fluent-diplomat level. Enough to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and suppliers without creating misunderstandings.• Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, Power Point. Basic to intermediate. If “basic Excel” makes you nervous, that’s information worth knowing before you apply.• Proven experience in an administrative, office management, or clinic coordination role.• Ability to manage multiple moving parts without constantly needing someone to tell you what to do next.• One more thing, and pay attention here because this is easy to miss: when you message us on Whats App, start your message with the word Molar. Not “hello.” Not “I’m applying.” Just lead with that word. If you don’t, we’ll assume you didn’t read this far, and we’ll assume that’s how you’ll handle instructions on the job too.
The Person We’re Actually Looking For:This is the part most job posts skip. We’re not skipping it. You are someone who finishes things. Not someone who starts well and fades. The ability to take a task from “assigned” to “done”, without reminders, without hand-holding, without leaving a trail of half-finished work, is non-negotiable.
You are organized by nature, not by effort. If your desk, your phone, your files, and your follow-ups require a heroic act of will to keep in order, this job will break you. We need someone for whom organization is just how they operate, not a habit they’re working on.
You are calm under pressure. A dental clinic is not a war zone, but it has its moments. Patients are anxious. Things overlap. Plans change. The person we want doesn’t add to the noise, they reduce it. You take initiative without overstepping. There’s a version of initiative that’s helpful and a version that creates chaos. We want someone who sees a problem, solves it within their scope, and communicates clearly, not someone who either waits to be told everything or goes rogue on decisions that aren’t theirs to make.
You are honest about what you don’t know. Competent people know their limits. They ask questions early. They flag problems before they become disasters. Overconfidence in an administrative role is how small issues become expensive ones.
Small note here, unrelated to the trait above but very related to whether you get a response from us: the second word you’ll need to send in your Whats App message is Extraction. You’ll know what to do with it when you find the first one.
You are genuinely interested in building something. This clinic is in a growth phase. The systems being put in place now will define how it operates for years. If you’re looking for a stable, fully-formed operation where you just maintain what exists, this might not be the right moment. If you want to be part of setting the foundation, it’s an interesting place to be.
You can work independently in a location that isn’t Cairo or Alexandria. Dahab is beautiful, relatively quiet, and far from the usual professional network. If that sounds like isolation to you, it might be. If it sounds like focus, you’re probably a fit.
One Last Thing:We will meet in person before any decision is made. Not because we don’t trust people, but because how someone shows up in a room tells you more than any CV ever will. If this sounds like something you can do, and more importantly, something you want to do, reach out. Whats App: 01224515998
Missing the Keyword in your Whats App message will not be regarded. Serious inquiries only. If you read this far, you probably already know whether you’re the right person or not.
