Job Purpose:<br>To manage schedules, financial budgeting, cost monitoring, and document control activities for a group of projects in order to ensure that the assigned projects are timely completed and within the estimated budget.<br>Roles & Responsibilities Contribute in the preparation of Cost plan for the company based on the determined budget of the assigned projects. Review and consolidate weekly and monthly status reports of cost, schedule, documents, resources and productivity for the assigned projects and provide input to the Business Unit Director. Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the conduct of project controls staff within the assigned projects are in accordance with the department's policies and procedures. This is a commercially focused role that requires a proactive sales professional who is motivated by identifying opportunities, building relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving ambitious revenue targets.<br>Working closely with the Programming, Marketing, and Operations teams, the Sales & Sponsorships Manager will contribute to the growth of Ghurnata by expanding its commercial partnerships, increasing venue utilisation, and creating sustainable revenue opportunities across events, programming, and sponsorship.<br>Key Responsibilities Outbound Sales & Business Development Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to generate new event business. Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified corporate, private, cultural, and community event opportunities. Identify prospective clients through research, networking, referrals, partnerships, Linked In, direct outreach, and industry events. Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, meetings, networking, and presentations. Build long-term relationships with corporates, event agencies, wedding planners, embassies, educational institutions, community organisations, and strategic partners. Represent Ghurnata at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions to generate new business opportunities. Consistently achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reports, and sales forecasts.<br>Sponsorship & Partnership Development Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities for events, festivals, exhibitions, and public programming. Develop compelling sponsorship packages tailored to different sectors and commercial partners. Build relationships with marketing managers, brand managers, CSR teams, and decision-makers across relevant organisations. Prepare sponsorship proposals and presentations. Negotiate sponsorship agreements and commercial partnerships. Maintain long-term relationships with sponsors to encourage repeat investment. Collaborate with Programming and Marketing to maximise sponsor visibility and value.<br>Venue Sales & Client Management Manage inbound sales enquiries and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings. Conduct engaging venue tours and presentations tailored to client requirements. Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements. Negotiate contracts while protecting Ghurnata's commercial interests. Identify opportunities to upsell venue services and maximise event revenue. Build trusted client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals. Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and planning process.<br>Event Handover & Delivery Support Ensure a seamless transition from sales to event delivery through effective communication with the Operations team. Accurately communicate client requirements, event specifications, and contractual commitments. Remain engaged throughout the planning process to ensure client satisfaction. Attend key events where appropriate to strengthen client relationships and identify future business opportunities. Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.<br>Commercial Planning & Market Development Identify emerging market opportunities and new revenue streams. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Contribute to pricing strategies, commercial packages, and promotional campaigns. Recommend new event concepts, partnerships, and commercial initiatives that increase venue utilisation and revenue.
