<p>The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the Supply Chain process at Operating Company level.<br>The Supply Chain Manager is in charge of managing and coordinating the OpCo’s logistic and supply chain function including acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the OpCo’s business requirements.<br>He / she is the link with supply points and sister OpCo’s served by or sourced from the OpCo.<br>The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for the management of the Supply Chain Planning process, balancing demand and supply and production capabilities, contributing to the drive towards IBP (integrated Business Planning). This is the top logistic and supply chain position for a specific location but is governed by policies and frameworks established by the larger corporation.<br>The Supply Chain Manager level depends on the size of the organization that he / she manages, which is aligned with the scope and complexity of the site / OpCo (number of plants / 3rd party manufacturing / production lines, customers, throughputs / capacities and size of the product portfolio). <br>The Supply Chain Manager supervises the Supply Planner, Demand Planner, Production Planner / Scheduler. The Group operates across multiple entities and manages large-scale, project-based operations requiring reliable procurement, logistics, and supply chain execution.<br>Job Summary:The Supply Chain Director will lead the Group-level Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Subcontractor Management functions. The role will ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant flow of materials and services to support project delivery across multiple business entities.<br>Key Responsibilities:Develop and lead the Group-wide supply chain strategy, standardizing procurement processes across multiple entities and business units. Lead the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services, including RFQs, BOQs, supplier negotiations, and commercial evaluations. Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, and inbound/outbound material movement. Manage import operations and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with Egyptian regulations, documentation requirements, duties, taxes, and customs procedures. Lead subcontractor procurement and management, including sourcing, qualification, contracting, mobilization, and performance monitoring. Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor evaluation frameworks, including qualification criteria, scorecards, vendor ratings, and periodic performance reviews. Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and logistics planning to ensure materials are available in line with project and field requirements. Negotiate framework agreements, pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions with key suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics providers. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable Egyptian import and customs regulations. Collaborate with Finance and project teams on payment terms, Letters of Guarantee, supplier payment cycles, tender pricing, project costing, and supply chain risk assessment.<br>Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification such as CIPS, CSCP (APICS), or an equivalent supply chain/procurement qualification is preferred. Training or practical knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and import compliance is a strong advantage. Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related functions. Proven experience within telecom, technology, systems integration, infrastructure, or a comparable project-driven industry. Strong experience in project-based and BOQ-driven procurement. Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, and material flow. Hands-on experience managing imports and customs clearance in Egypt, including documentation, duties/taxes, bonded zones, clearing agents, and customs authorities. Proven experience sourcing, contracting, and managing subcontractors, particularly civil works, HDD, installation crews, or similar infrastructure services. Experience developing and implementing supplier and subcontractor evaluation frameworks. Experience managing procurement across multiple business units or legal entities is strongly preferred.
