Role Description
The Oil & Gas Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging oil and gas clients, promoting steel products (ERW Line Pipes) for petroleum-related applications, and developing tailored technical and commercial proposals. The Sales Engineer will manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, conduct site and client visits, and provide technical guidance on product selection and specifications. Daily activities include coordinating with engineering and production teams, preparing quotations and contracts, monitoring market trends and competitors, and maintaining long-term client relationships. The role also involves achieving sales targets, participating in industry events, and providing regular reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Industrial, or related discipline) or Business Administration.
3–5 years of proven sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Previous experience in the sales of Line Pipe / OCTG is a plus.
Previous Oil & Gas field operations experience is a plus.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
Conduct continuous market scanning across upstream, midstream, and downstream Oil & Gas sectors to identify new projects, generate leads, and expand the assigned customer portfolio.
Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas supply chain, including Operators, EPC contractors, and service companies.
Register our company in all assigned portfolios of Oil & Gas Operators, making sure that we are invited to all RFQs, Tenders & sales occasions.
Identify customers’ needs, discuss customers’ requirements, and advise on the capabilities and limitations of the products, solutions, and services being offered.
Following up on the operations plan for the assigned portfolio to get early information from the clients, to be ready with immediate participation.
Give presentations; demonstrate products and solutions, and provide all the technical and commercial material needed for the customer.
Report to the Sales Manager with sales visits & plan according to the assigned portfolio.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (NFPA, IEC, ISA where applicable), client requirements, and company quality standards. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.5–7 years of experience in Fire & Gas, Fire Alarm, or Safety Systems within EPC, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm and Gas Detection systems, including flame detectors, gas detectors, smoke and heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, beacons, and control panels. Familiarity with integrated Fire & Gas systems and interfaces with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems. Experience reviewing Fire & Gas design documents, cause & effect matrices, detector layouts, cable schedules, and system architecture drawings. Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities. Knowledge of applicable international standards such as NFPA, IEC, and ISA is preferred. A leading industrial company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations, maintenance, and safety performance in a continuous-process manufacturing environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Lead and manage daily operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.<br>Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE regulations, company procedures, and international safety standards.<br>Oversee maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance programs, shutdown planning, and asset reliability initiatives.<br>Monitor plant performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.<br>Develop and maintain operational KPIs and performance reports.<br>Support budget preparation, cost control, CAPEX projects, and operational planning.<br>Qualifications & Experience<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).<br>Minimum 10–15 years of experience in industrial operations, including at least 5 years in a senior management position.<br>Strong background in maintenance management, asset reliability, and operational excellence.<br>Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial Gases, or other continuous-process industries is highly preferred.<br>Management of Change (MOC), and Permit-to-Work systems.<br>Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.<br>Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.<br>Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.<br> <br><br> <br><br>
Job duties:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Maintain split, packaged, cassette AC units, VRF systems, and central air conditioning. Monitor AC performance and suggest necessary improvements. Recharge refrigerant as needed according to safety standards. Coordinate with suppliers or contractors for major faults.
