Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics) or equivalent. At least one year of experience in maintenance of industrial equipment, with supervisory experience. Experience in maintenance of color machines or similar industrial equipment. Good knowledge of preventive maintenance and repairing mechanical and electrical faults. Proficient in Microsoft Office, CMMS systems knowledge is an additional advantage. Al Jazeera Company for Paints announces opening for the application for the position of <strong>Maintenance Supervisor of Color Printing Machines</strong>, to join the maintenance team and contribute to ensuring the efficiency and continuity of operation of color printing machines at the highest quality levels.<br><br>Job duties:<br>Prepare and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for color printing machines.<br>Periodically inspect machines, identify faults and repair them.<br>Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance work and address technical faults.<br>Supervise the color printing machine maintenance technicians team, distribute tasks, and monitor performance.<br>Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to provide the necessary spare parts.<br>Prepare and update maintenance records and reports and monitor machine performance.<br>Coordinate with the concerned departments to ensure continuous operation.<br>Commit to applying health, safety, and occupational safety standards (HSE).<br><br>Requirements:<br>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics) or equivalent.<br>At least one year of experience in maintenance of industrial equipment, with supervisory experience.<br>Experience in maintaining color printing machines or similar industrial equipment.<br>Good knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical faults.<br>Proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with CMMS systems is an added advantage.<br>Commitment to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily maintenance activities, ensuring high equipment availability, reliability, and operational performance across cable manufacturing processes. Drive effective execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization. Manage and continuously improve maintenance programs through CMMS platforms, ensuring timely completion of scheduled maintenance activities and adherence to maintenance standards. Monitor and optimize inspection and maintenance schedules for critical production equipment and utilities. Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, engineers, and technicians across multiple shifts. Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, continuous learning, and safety within the maintenance organization. Coordinate rapid response to equipment failures and breakdowns while ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Balance reactive maintenance requirements with proactive reliability improvement initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime. Oversee spare parts planning, inventory optimization, and critical stock availability to support maintenance requirements while controlling costs. Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to improve equipment lifecycle performance and maintenance efficiency. Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Enforce safe maintenance practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and risk management protocols. Monitor maintenance KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, maintenance costs, and schedule compliance. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reliability, and operational excellence.<br>Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.6–10 years of progressive experience in industrial plant maintenance within a heavy manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CMMS, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, TPM, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and reliability methodologies. Proven experience managing maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
