<h4>Education for employment (EFE)</h4>
<ul>
<li>The EFE component uses a blend of locally and internationally developed hospitality courses that have been especially created to prepare local nationals for careers in the hospitality industry.</li>
<li>This six-week part of Tahseen includes approximately 260 hours of hospitality training, with many components specific to workplace readiness and better understanding of the work environment and the nature of the jobs.</li>
</ul>

<h4>General training</h4>
<p>Occurs in the first six months of the program. Each participant will rotate through the six key disciplines on property, spending between 2–3 weeks in each discipline. The six disciplines are:</p>

<li>Rooms operations</li>
<li>Food & beverage</li>
<li>Sales & marketing (BMSC)</li>
<li>Human resources</li>
<li>Safety & security (loss prevention)</li>
<li>Finance</li>
</ul>

<h4>The specialization course</h4>
<ul>
<li>Occurs in the last six months of the program and will focus on one discipline of the participant’s choice and leadership feedback. You will complete additional required training in this discipline and begin to gain deeper knowledge and develop skills necessary to become an effective leader in this discipline.</li>
<li>The customized program includes local culture training, business English and is translated locally in Arabic so you are empowered to achieve success.</li>
<li>Through Tahseen, you will gain fundamental knowledge and exposure to a wide array of hospitality disciplines. You will train with and learn from best-in-class hospitality leaders from around the globe – developing vital skills and be part of shaping your country’s economic future.</li>

HR Transformation & Governance Develop and lead the Group HR Transformation Roadmap, ensuring successful delivery of strategic transformation initiatives. Review and redesign HR policies, SOPs, workflows, and governance frameworks. Lead the digitalization and automation of HR processes across Group companies. Design and implement an effective HR Shared Services / HR Operating Model. Establish and monitor HR service-level agreements, governance standards, and operating KPIs. Organization Design & Effectiveness Lead organization design initiatives to ensure structures are aligned with business strategy and growth plans. Review organizational structures, reporting lines, spans of control, layers, and decision-making authority. Drive headcount rationalization and workforce optimization initiatives while maintaining business effectiveness. Develop and maintain a robust job architecture and role-mapping framework. Partner with senior leadership to assess organizational capability and future workforce requirements.<br>3. Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy Lead strategic workforce planning across the Group. Develop workforce models aligned with business plans, growth projections, and organizational priorities. Identify critical roles, talent risks, capability gaps, and succession requirements. Establish and drive succession planning and talent continuity frameworks for critical positions. Partner with business leaders to ensure the right talent, capabilities, and workforce structure are in place.<br>4. Payroll Transformation Lead the transformation and automation of the end-to-end payroll operating model. Drive payroll process standardization, automation, and integration with HR systems. Improve payroll accuracy, compliance, controls, and processing efficiency. Establish robust payroll governance, controls, reporting, and audit mechanisms. Identify and eliminate manual processes, duplication, and payroll-related operational risks.<br>5. HR Operations Transformation Lead the automation and optimization of Hire-to-Retire processes. Re-engineer HR processes to improve efficiency, employee experience, and service delivery. Drive adoption of Employee Self-Service (ESS) and digital HR solutions. Establish process ownership, SLAs, controls, and continuous improvement mechanisms. Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize HR operations across Group companies.<br>6. Employee Relations Transformation Transform Employee Relations into a structured, transparent, and data-driven function. Implement standardized ER case management and tracking mechanisms. Digitize employee relations workflows, documentation, approvals, and case reporting. Develop ER dashboards and analytics to identify trends, risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for intervention. Ensure appropriate governance, consistency, confidentiality, and compliance in ER processes.<br>7. Talent Acquisition Transformation Lead the transformation of recruitment processes from Manpower Request through Onboarding. Automate recruitment workflows, approvals, candidate tracking, and onboarding activities. Improve recruitment efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring governance. Drive initiatives to reduce Time-to-Hire and improve recruitment quality. Establish recruitment analytics and dashboards to monitor hiring performance and bottlenecks. Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to standardize recruitment practices across Group companies.<br>8. HR Technology, Digitalization & Analytics Lead the strategic utilization and optimization of ZeTalents across all relevant HR modules. Ensure maximum adoption and integration of HR technology across the Group. Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and system integration. Develop executive HR dashboards and people analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Establish meaningful HR KPIs, workforce analytics, and management reporting. <h4>Education and experience</h4>

<li>High school diploma or GED; experienced (1–2 years of experience) in the event management or related professional area.</li>
<li>OR</li>
<li>2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in the event management or related professional area required.</li>

<h4>Managing event logistics and operations</h4>
<ul>
<li>Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.</li>
<li>Greets customer during the event phase and hands-off to the event operations team for the execution of details.</li>
<li>Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill.</li>
<li>Manages group room blocks and meeting space for average to large-sized assigned groups.</li>
<li>Identifies operational challenges associated with his/her group and determines how to best work with the property staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.</li>
<li>Uses his/her judgment to integrate current trends in event management and event design.</li>
<li>Acts as liaison between field salesperson and customer throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event).</li>
<li>Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.</li>
<li>Solicits feedback from the property departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the event planner’s experience.</li>
</ul>

<li>Delivers excellent customer service throughout the customer experience and encourages the same from other employees.</li>

<li>Oversees his/her customer experiences from file turnover through the post event phase until turnover back to sales.</li>

<li>Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints.</li>

<li>Stays available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.</li>

<li>Facilitates various meetings as he/she perceives necessary (Banquet Event Order meeting, block review, etc).</li>

<h4>Supporting and coordinating with the sales and marketing function</h4>
<ul>
<li>Assists in the sales process and revenue forecasting for customer groups.</li>
<li>Up-sells products and services throughout the event process.</li>
<li>Forecasts group sleeping rooms and event revenue (catering and audio visual) for his/her groups.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Conducting human resources activities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.</li>
<li>Observes service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals and/or managers.</li>
<li>Assists in the development and implementation of corrective action plans.</li>
<li>Takes initiative to use his/her experience to improve service performance according to his/her evaluation of the issue and resolution.</li>
<li>Works with the property staff and customers to address operational challenges associated with his/her group.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.</li>
