Company Description Magico Group has worked in Egyptian agriculture and public health since 1992. Our factory in Obour City has been in production since 2005, and today we manufacture and distribute more than 150 products — agrochemicals, public health and vector control solutions, veterinary pesticides and disinfectants. We sell our own lines alongside those of the multinational manufacturers we represent in Egypt. The work has a visible result: crops protected, disease vectors controlled, facilities kept safe. We are now expanding into export markets and building the commercial team to match. Role Description This is technical field sales. Your customers are agronomists, distributors, cooperatives and public health authorities who know their subject well. You will win business by knowing the product better than they do — and by being straight about where it fits and where it does not. What you will do Source your own leads, through every channel available. Cold visits to farms, dealers and cooperatives; agricultural directorates and associations; trade fairs, field days and exhibitions; referrals from existing customers; online groups, directories and social channels; and tender notices from public health authorities. You will not be handed a customer list — you build one. Own the full sales cycle in your territory: prospect, present, quote, negotiate, close, collect Visit growers, dealers and distributors regularly — this role lives in the field, not at a desk Run product demonstrations and technical presentations that stand up to informed questions Provide real technical support: application rates, timing, tank-mix compatibility, safety intervals, resistance management Handle field complaints and product issues quickly, and honestly Prepare proposals and quotations, and negotiate terms that hold their margin Coordinate with Supply Chain and Production on availability and delivery dates Report what you see in the market: competitor pricing, new actives, shifting demand Keep the CRM current — it is the system of record for your pipeline What you will be measured on Revenue against target, cash actually collected, new accounts you opened yourself, and coverage of your territory. Qualifications Essential Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry, Veterinary Science or a related scientific discipline3+ years in field or technical sales in agrochemicals, veterinary products, public health or a related sector A proven ability to find your own customers. ABOUT EYEWA & THE OPPORTUNITYEyewa is the largest and fastest-growing omnichannel eyewear retailer in the Middle East. Since 2017 we've grown from an online store into a regional powerhouse of 250+ stores across the GCC. Our mission is simple and ambitious: make high-quality eyewear accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Egypt is our next frontier — and one of our most exciting. We are building the market from the ground up, and our stores are where the brand comes to life. Every campaign, every product, every promise we make lands in one place: the store floor. The teams you build and the standards you set are what customers will actually experience of Eyewa in Egypt.
This is a rare chance to build a retail network from the very first store — to hire and shape the teams, write the playbook, set the culture, and grow it store by store into something that outperforms. We're looking for a leader who wants to be a major contributor to a real success story, not a bystander to one.
THE ROLEAs the Expansion Manager, you own the hunt for great locations and the deals that lock them in. You'll source, evaluate, and negotiate the sites that power Eyewa's rollout in Egypt - turning a target map into a signed, store-ready portfolio, and building the landlord and developer relationships that give us an edge for years to come.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSite Sourcing & Location Strategy Shape the store location strategy with the MD and Retail leadership — target catchments, mall vs. street, and format mix. Build and maintain a strong, ranked pipeline of candidate sites aligned to the expansion plan, always staying ahead of the rollout. Evaluate locations rigorously on footfall, catchment demographics, competition, and commercial viability. Negotiation & Deal-Making Lead lease negotiations with landlords, malls, and developers to secure the best possible rent, terms, and fit-out conditions. Build the commercial case for each site — rent-to-revenue, payback — in partnership with Finance and Strategy & Execution. Own the full deal cycle from first conversation to signed lease, coordinating legal and internal sign-off to keep deals moving. Portfolio & Relationships Build and own Eyewa's network across Egypt's major mall operators, developers, and brokers — becoming the name they call first with a good site. Manage the growing lease portfolio — renewals, rent reviews, and exits — protecting the economics over time. Coordinate clean handover of secured sites to Retail Ops and fit-out, so locations move from signed to trading without friction.
WHO YOU ARE7+ years in retail leasing, real estate, or expansion — ideally with a retail chain, F&B group, or developer active in the Egyptian market. A natural dealmaker and hunter — you love the chase of a great site and the win of a great deal, and you close. A strong, live network with Egyptian malls, developers, and landlords — doors open when you call. Commercially sharp: you can read a location both on the ground (footfall, catchment) and on the spreadsheet (rent-to-revenue, payback). Energetic and mobile — happy to be out in the field chasing sites, not behind a desk waiting for them. Ambitious and ownership-driven — you want to build a portfolio you can point to, not inherit one. Fluent Arabic and English.
WHY THIS ROLEBuild a store portfolio from zero — your sites, your deals, your map. Direct line to the MD and real influence over where and how fast Eyewa Egypt grows. The backing of a profitable, fast-growing, well-capitalized regional leader — startup pace without startup fragility. A visible, tangible legacy: every store you secure is a mark on the map you helped draw.
