<h4>Job description</h4>
<ol>
<li>Clean the rooms according to identified standards.</li>
<li>Sign when taking and handing back keys.</li>
<li>Start by dusting the general area in the lobby.</li>
<li>Organise the floor trolleys and procure missing material.</li>
<li>Respond to all guest demands related to the rooms and cleaning as quickly and effectively as possible (e.g., extra bed, pillows, towels).</li>
<li>Collect the empty plates, glasses, and utensils in the rooms and place them on the shelf in front of the elevator.</li>
<li>Clean the rooms assigned to him/her according to the identified standards.</li>
<li>Fill in the room status, textile report, and amenities report in the maid report.</li>
<li>Immediately inform by phone the Housekeeping Office of any maintenance and repairs needed in the floors, corridors, offices, or rooms; also inform the Floor Supervisors.</li>
<li>Immediately report any room discrepancies.</li>
<li>Immediately hand in all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office.</li>
<li>Use and maintain the floor offices and amenities offices in a clean and orderly manner in line with the desired standards.</li>
<li>Perform all duties assigned by seniors.</li>
<li>Report any rooms that have not been cleaned due to a specific reason to the Office or Floor Supervisor (e.g., Do Not Disturb, cleaning not requested).</li>
<li>Take part in vocational trainings and sign the attendance form.</li>
<li>Be familiar with and implement the hotel’s security rules.</li>
<li>Ensure that all materials used to make up the rooms are ironed, unsoiled, intact, and proper. Otherwise, tie a knot in such items and send them to the laundry.</li>
<li>Vacuum the floor corridors and dust the dressers, objects, and paintings every morning and in the evening.</li>
<li>Regularly vacuum and mop the guest stairs.</li>
<li>Start and end work by vacuuming and mopping the staircases and area in front of the service lifts.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness, friendliness, and hygiene.</li>
<li>Encourage colleagues to be productive by coming up with new ideas.</li>
<li>Be a member of the Emergency Response Team.</li>
<li>Participate in activities organized to protect biological diversity and share responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary trainings. Minimize consumption of all used materials and equipment (e.g., paper, printed materials).</li>
<li>Implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings to save energy inside the facility. Carry out decisions made for saving energy and assess the environmental impact and energy efficiency of purchased equipment.</li>
<li>Carry out responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects on the environment.</li>
<li>Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.</li>
