You will contribute to the development of policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools for financial reporting and internal control across the Group. The position is part of Scatec s global Group Reporting and Accounting function and will be based in Cairo, with primary responsibility for financial reporting related to the Egyptian portfolio. The role will work closely with Group Reporting in Oslo, as well as local Finance and Asset Management teams.</p> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Main responsibilities </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Perform quality assurance and consolidation of IFRS reporting, with primary responsibility for the Egyptian portfolio, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial reporting. </li> <li>Conduct IFRS technical accounting assessments for complex transactions (e.g., PPAs, EPC arrangements, impairments, financial instruments, and non-recurring items), and prepare high-quality accounting memos and presentations for external auditors. </li> <li>Act as the primary IFRS contact within the region, providing guidance, training, and support to local Finance and Asset Management teams. </li> <li>Ensure consistent application and continuous development of Group accounting policies, including IFRS compliance and adoption of new accounting standards across the organization. </li> <li>Coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors to ensure timely resolution and closure of audit findings, while supporting external reporting and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, the Board, and the Oslo Stock Exchange. </li> <li>Drive process improvement initiatives and strengthen internal control over financial reporting (ICFR), including development of policies, tools, and support to internal audit activities.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Qualifications and competencies</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Master s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li> <li>5 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within audit and/or group reporting in an international environment.</li> <li>Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, with experience in applying accounting standards in practice.</li> <li>Experience from Big Four audit firms is preferred, with exposure to complex accounting and financial reporting environments.</li> <li>Solid understanding of consolidation and group reporting processes, with strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities.</li> <li>Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken), with good IT proficiency (MS Office and SharePoint) and the ability to work independently while collaborating across functions and geographies.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p></div></section>

Desk side Engineer Role (FTE) This position assists customers, end users and operating staff with technical support of desktopcomputers, applications, and related technology. Interaction with multiple levels of end users,managers, VIPs and local technical staff is required.<br>Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripheralswithin established standards and guidelines.<br>Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose andresolve unique, non-recurring problems.<br>A good understanding of general IT services is required. “Smart Hands” services andcooperation with subject matter experts to provide “eyes, hands and feet” in support of Networking Equipment, Servers, Telecoms and other IT related equipment.<br><br><br>Duties include (but are not limited to):- Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues for basic desktop/laptop/workstation support, basic connectivity support (wired and wireless), PDAs, Black Berrys and basic printer support.- Troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
