About Ultra Tech Ultra Tech for Scientific Instruments supplies and supports analytical laboratory instrumentation across Egypt. The role We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer who can hold a technical conversation with a laboratory manager and a commercial one with a procurement committee, often in the same week. You will carry responsibility for both new instrument sales and for growing revenue from the customers we already serve. Key responsibilities• Own a portfolio of accounts across the water, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and government laboratory sectors, worked to a tiered contact plan with key accounts contacted monthly and visited quarterly• Own the recurring revenue stream from our installed base — consumables, columns, suppressors, reference standards and spare parts — against a monthly target• Convert clients who are out of contract to annual maintenance contracts, working alongside the Field Service team• Identify applications where our platforms fit, and translate a customer’s analytical problem into the right instrument configuration• Prepare technical and commercial offers covering specifications, configuration, pricing and delivery terms• Manage public tender submissions end to end, including technical compliance sheets, commercial envelopes, bid bonds and clarification rounds• Price with realized margin in view rather than order value alone, taking account of landed cost, exchange rate exposure, retention and the collection cycle• Run product demonstrations and customer seminars, supported by our applications team and our principals• Build relationships with laboratory managers, QC heads, procurement departments and technical committees• Log every quotation and its outcome so the business can forecast accurately Requirements• BSc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or a related science• 4–7 years in technical sales of laboratory or analytical instruments, or a laboratory background with a clear move toward a commercial role• Working understanding of analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, elemental analysis or wet chemistry• Comfortable with disciplined account management and repeat business, not only chasing tenders — a large part of this role is growing revenue from customers we already have• Fluent Arabic and good working English, as you will deal directly with our international principals• Willing to travel across Egypt, including Upper Egypt and the Delta• Valid driving license and must own a car Preferred• Experience with Egyptian public sector tendering• Hands-on experience with ion chromatography, XRF or TOC analysis• Existing relationships in water utilities, petroleum or pharmaceutical QC• Experience selling consumables, columns and reference standards alongside capital equipment What we offer• Car allowance• A defined portfolio of established accounts with a known installed base, not a cold-start territory• Direct training from our principals on their platforms• Commission scheme linked to collected revenue• Medical insurance and mobile allowance• Competitive Salary

Job Purpose The Operation Shift In-Charge will be responsible for leading shift operations within a large-scale Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) facility, covering project execution, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and subsequent plant operation.<br>The position will ensure safe, stable and efficient operation of the DRI process while coordinating control room and field activities, troubleshooting process abnormalities and maintaining production, quality, energy-consumption and safety targets.<br>The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of HYL/Energiron or Midrex DRI technology, combined with proven supervisory experience in large continuous-process plants.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead and coordinate all DRI plant activities during the assigned shift. Participate in project execution, equipment installation verification, system walk-downs, punch-list clearance and mechanical completion. Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams, operating philosophies, equipment specifications and control narratives. Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including flushing, blowing, hydrotesting, leak testing, loop checking and equipment trials. Lead plant start-up, stabilization, normal operation and planned/emergency shutdown activities.
