<span>Job Purpose: The Junior Utilities Engineer shall support the preparation, drafting, revision, and coordination of utilities shop drawings for UAE infrastructure projects.<br> The engineer shall develop capability in utility layouts, profiles, sections, chambers, crossings, and coordination with roads and structures.<br> Stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, firefighting, electrical ducts, telecom ducts, street lighting, ITS ducts, utility corridors, chambers, manholes, gullies, catch basins, valve chambers, crossings, and protection details.<br> Key Responsibilities: 1.<br> Prepare utilities shop drawings.<br> 2. Draft utility layouts, profiles, long sections, cross sections, chamber details, manhole schedules, setting out drawings, and coordination drawings.<br> 3. Review IFC drawings, standard details, specifications, authority requirements.<br> 4. Extract coordinates, levels, pipe sizes, slopes, cover levels, invert levels, chamber references, and o sets from approved drawings.<br> 5. Support the preparation of gravity line drawings, including stormwater and sewerage networks.<br> 6. Support the preparation of pressure line drawings, including potable water, irrigation, and firefighting.<br> 7. Assist in checking pipe gradients, invert levels, cover, manhole depths, and road crossing details.<br> 8. Coordinate basic interfaces with roads, drainage, structures, street lighting, telecom, electrical, and existing services.<br> 9. Identify simple clashes, missing levels, wrong chamber references, wrong pipe sizes, and unclear details.<br> 10. Revise drawings based on senior engineer comments, consultant comments, RFI responses, and updated IFC drawings.<br> 11. Prepare basic markups and drawing updates for draftsmen when instructed.<br> 12. Check drawing presentation, title blocks, drawing numbers, revision clouds, legends, notes, references, and CAD layers.<br> 13. Maintain proper drawing files, markups, revision records, and assigned drawing trackers.<br> 14. Support quantity take-o and schedule preparation when required.<br> 15. Escalate any missing information, conflict, or unclear design item to the Senior Utilities Engineer.<br> Required Technical Capability: 1.<br> Basic knowledge of utility shop drawings.<br> 2. Good AutoCAD and Civil 3D drafting skills.<br> 3. Basic understanding of gravity and pressure networks.<br> 4. Ability to read utility layouts, profiles, sections, and standard details.<br> 5. The ideal candidate combines polished hospitality skills with solid knowledge of beverages, bar operations, and service standards.</p><br><p>The Lobby Manager will be responsible for creating a welcoming, energetic, and sophisticated lobby environment while supporting beverage service and coordinating closely with the Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments.</p><br><p>Key Responsibilities</p><br><ul><li>Manage the daily operation and guest experience within the hotel lobby.</li><li>Welcome and engage guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and personalized experience.</li><li>Oversee lobby beverage service, including coffee, cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverage offerings.</li><li>Maintain high standards of beverage presentation, quality, and service.</li><li>Lead, coach, and motivate lobby and beverage service team members.</li><li>Monitor service levels and proactively resolve guest concerns or complaints.</li><li>Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Events teams to ensure seamless operations.</li><li>Monitor beverage inventory, par levels, requisitions, and product availability.</li><li>Support beverage cost control, wastage reduction, and adherence to company standards.</li><li>Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, licensing, and responsible alcohol-service requirements.</li><li>Maintain the lobby’s appearance, ambiance, cleanliness, and overall presentation.</li><li>Assist with lobby activations, promotions, tastings, seasonal concepts, and special events.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular guests and VIPs.</li><li>Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve the lobby and beverage experience.</li><li>Prepare operational reports and communicate relevant issues and opportunities to management.</li><li>Ensure team members consistently follow SOPs, grooming standards, and service procedures.</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>Minimum <strong>3–5 years of experience</strong> in hospitality, preferably in a hotel, lounge, bar, restaurant, or upscale F&B environment.</li><li>Previous supervisory or management experience is required.</li><li>Strong <strong>beverage knowledge</strong>, including cocktails, spirits, wine, coffee, mocktails, and contemporary beverage trends.</li><li>Experience with beverage service, inventory management, and cost control.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong guest-service mindset with the ability to handle VIP and high-profile guests professionally.</li><li>Confident leadership and team-management abilities.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural hospitality environment.</li><li>Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during special events.</li><li>Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related qualification is preferred.</li><li>Relevant beverage certifications are an advantage.</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><br><p>Key Competencies</p><br><p><strong>Guest Experience | Beverage Expertise | Leadership | Communication | Problem Solving | Service Excellence | Commercial Awareness | Team Development | Attention to Detail</strong></p><br><p>Success in This Role</p><br><p>Success will be measured by delivering a consistently exceptional lobby experience, maintaining high beverage and service standards, developing a strong team culture, controlling beverage costs, and creating a lobby environment that encourages guest engagement, repeat visits, and positive feedback.</p><br> </div>
