We’re building a better future, one load at a time.<br>The Role Overview:<br>As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be the frontline guardian of our product quality. You will work under the guidance of our senior quality team to perform testing, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that every cubic yard of concrete we produce meets project specifications and industry standards.<br>Key Responsibilities:Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials and fresh concrete (e.g., slump, air content, unit weight, casting cylinders). Accurately record and analyze test data, maintaining detailed and organized records. Monitor production processes and batch plant operations for consistency and compliance. Assist in investigating and resolving any non-conformance issues. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy. Work collaboratively with plant operators, dispatchers, and drivers. Uphold and promote a culture of safety at all times.<br>What We're Looking For:<br>3-5 years of experience in a QC role, preferably within the ready-mix concrete, construction, or a related industry. A solid understanding of concrete properties and ASTM/CSA testing standards. A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). The ability to work independently, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
