Current and upcoming interventions include extensive capacity building, equipment and infrastructure provision programme for different Ministries including Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, Ministry of Civil Aviation relevant departments mandated with border management in Egypt on various technical topics, policy support, initiatives related to International Migration Law (IML), rule of law, rights-based border management, Integrated Border Management (IBM), Humanitarian Border Management (HBM), maritime law and SAR (Search and Rescue), countering-cross border crime, development and trade, legal identity (migrant registration, biometrics, travel document standards) and cross border cooperation with neighboring countries in the above domains including implementation of international agreements in support of humane and orderly migration.</p><p>Under the overall supervision of the Senior Programme Manager (HBM) and direct supervision of the National Project Officer (IBG), the Project Assistant Immigration and Border Governance (IBG) will be responsible and accountable for providing technical and administrative support services to the IBG thematic programme in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
