Communicate early and clearly with stakeholders about delays, blockers, or quality risks.</li><li><b>Mentorship &amp; Team Management</b> Act as a technical reference, mentor, and trainer to developers. Ensure task estimation accuracy and maintain 85%+ on-time delivery rate. Escalate complex architectural or engineering challenges to Principal Engineers or Solution Architects when needed. <p>A leading contracting and industrial company specializing in high-end architectural aluminum, glass facades, premium marble works, and specialized fit-out projects is seeking a highly qualified and detail-oriented <strong>Technical Office Engineer (Aluminum, Glass &amp; Marble)</strong> to join our technical team.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>Shop Drawings &amp; Fabrication Detailing:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare execution-ready 2D/3D Shop Drawings and complex structural/architectural details for aluminum doors, windows, curtain walls, structural glazing, skylights, as well as marble cladding and flooring (including waterjet patterns).</p></li><li><p>Generate precise, zero-waste Optimization/Cutting Sheets and daily Production Orders (Cutting Tickets) for both aluminum and marble factories/workshops.</p></li><li><p>Prepare final As-Built drawings reflecting all on-site and factory modifications.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Quantity Surveying (QS) &amp; Estimation:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Perform accurate Material Takeoffs (profiles, glass specs, marble slabs, hardware, and gaskets) from tender drawings, approved shop drawings, and actual site progress.</p></li><li><p>Analyze BOQs, tender documents, and specifications to build accurate unit rate estimations and detailed pricing models.</p></li><li><p>Request, evaluate, and compare price quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Invoicing &amp; Financial Controls:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare monthly Client Progress Invoices based on verified site accomplishments and contract BOQs.</p></li><li><p>Review, verify, and process Subcontractor/Workshop Payment Applications.</p></li><li><p>Identify scope changes, prepare Variation Orders (VOs), and evaluate their financial impacts for client approval.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Technical Coordination:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Liaise effectively between site teams, factory production lines, consultants, system suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.</p></li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Design.</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 2 to 6+ years of proven technical office experience specializing in <strong>Aluminum &amp; Glass systems</strong> as well as <strong>Marble &amp; Luxury Finishes</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>Software &amp; Technical Proficiency:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>AutoCAD:</strong> Advanced skills in technical drafting, architectural section detailing, and shop drawings (<strong>Mandatory</strong>).</p></li><li><p><strong>MS Excel:</strong> Advanced proficiency for QS, cutting schedules, pricing models, and invoicing (<strong>Mandatory</strong>).</p></li><li><p><strong>3D Design Software:</strong> Proficiency in <strong>3ds Max</strong> or <strong>SolidWorks</strong> / <strong>Inventor</strong> for complex structural modeling, 3D visualization, and detailed fabrication modeling (<strong>Highly Preferred</strong>).</p></li><li><p><strong>Optimization Software:</strong> Knowledge of aluminum cutting optimization software (e.g., LogiKal / Orgadata, Cutting Optimization Pro) and marble cutting workflows.</p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong> High attention to detail, deep knowledge of aluminum profiles and marble fabrication, strong cost estimation skills, and effective technical communication.</p></li></ul><p></p>
