ROLE SUMMARYThe Solution Architect is responsible for defining the group-wide infrastructure and cloud strategy and providing technical direction for complex initiatives. The role designs and oversees solutions across cloud, compute, storage, network, shared infrastructure, and systems, supporting initiatives such as data center consolidation, infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, multi-cloud adoption, and business continuity.
ROLE PROFILELead Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture by owning the design and technical direction of infrastructure and cloud solutions for group-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and long-term technology objectives. Define Architecture Standards & Solutions to establish architecture guidelines, standards, and solution patterns while ensuring technical integrity, scalability, reliability, and quality. Drive Solution Design & Documentation to develop and maintain conceptual and logical architectures, system designs, and comprehensive documentation to support implementation, integration, and service delivery. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration and partner with Enterprise, Security, Data, Integration, Application Architects, global service teams, PMO, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and resolve technical challenges. Drive Transformation & Technology Adoption to lead transformational initiatives, proof of concepts, cloud/infrastructure modernization, technology evaluations, and successful transitions into implementation and support. Manage Vendors & Technical Engagements to support RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, work with strategic technology partners and vendors, and provide technical direction for new technologies and solutions. Ensure Business Value & Governance to assess costs, risks, dependencies, complexity, and effort while connecting technology decisions to measurable business value and ensuring compliance with architecture frameworks. Provide Technical Leadership & Mentorship act as an Infrastructure & Cloud SME, lead architecture presentations and design sessions, mentor technical teams, and drive collaborative decision-making and effective communication.
REQUIREMENTSExperience in IT architecture or technology consulting in the infrastructure and cloud domain. Strong experience in architecting and designing solutions using cloud, delivering business value with enterprise and infrastructure modernization. Value driven mindset, keeping customer at the center of decision making Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, system analysis or a related field of study.
