Job Purpose<br><br> JOB DESCRIPTION <br><br>Maintain clear communication with suppliers in order to ensure timely purchasing activities in adherence with relate policies and procedures. Coordinate with Logistics Department/suppliers and seek for clarify and follow up the status of purchasing activities. Review invoices with quotations and purchase orders in order to verify accuracy. Update the purchasing database regularly to reflect actual purchasing activities status. Generate related reports as requested by the Purchasing Section Head and conduct additional analysis if needed. About the role Head of sales promotes the sales of electric bus and trucks fleets in the region of North Africa, by developing and maintaining high level contacts and a fluid relation with existing and potential customers (PTA and PTO). In addition, Head of sales coordinates the activities of the supporting teams at the HQ and in North Africa related to the regional tenders and orders. Head of sales is part of the sales department and reports to the Head of Commercial Vehicles, MEA.<br>Key responsibilities Responsible for commercial vehicle market development in North Africa, including market information collection, competitor analysis and pricing positioning etc. Establish strong relationships with local governments and key clients to advocate and drive the electrification of public transportation, converting the ICE fleet to electric vehicle. Coordinate, supervise and support the activities of the BYD team allocated to the region of responsibility, including the sales assistant, tender specialist and after-sales team (in coordination with the After-sales Manager MEA). Generate and maintain contacts with the cities interested in sourcing electric buses and trucks.
