The Project Manager is responsible for the full operational readiness, productivity, and lifecycle maintenance of a heavy equipment fleet of 80+ units (excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, compactors, tipper trucks, and support vehicles) supporting a large-scale earthworks project at Sukari Gold Mine (SGM), Marsa Alam. The role owns equipment availability and utilization targets, workshop and maintenance operations, spare parts and inventory management, HSE compliance for plant operations, and coordination between operations, maintenance, and site production teams. The successful candidate must be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with hands-on heavy equipment maintenance and workshop management experience.<br>Key Responsibilities Fleet Operations & Production Support• Plan and coordinate daily deployment of 80+ heavy equipment units across excavation, hauling, grading, and compaction activities to meet earthworks production targets.• Monitor equipment utilization, idle time, and productivity (m³/hour, cycle times) and drive continuous improvement in fleet efficiency.• Coordinate with site engineers and production teams to align equipment allocation with the project schedule and daily/weekly work plans. Ensure optimal equipment-to-task matching (e.g., excavator-truck pairing) to minimize costs and maximize output. Egy Bell is hiring an Assistant Manager Operations for a well-known multinational company located in New Cairo<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: <br>Responsible for implementing the housekeeping plan for the internal areas of the mall as well as the external areas, i.e. the immediate periphery of the Mall, such as the stairways, the roads and the car parks areas; by directing the housekeeping staff in their routine and non-routine jobs; ensuring compliance to set standards; and carrying out regular inspection, with the objective of enforcing adherence to standards, assessing performance levels and preventing any shortfalls that may lead to any inconvenience to the visitors<br>Responsible for implementing pest control, bird control, waste management services with objectives of ensuring standards, assessing performance and preventing shortfalls<br>Budgets & Plans:Recommend and oversee the budget for the Operations and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs, areas of unsatisfactory performance and potential areas of cost reduction are identified, and performance improvement opportunities are realized.
