An Arabic-first platform that digitalizes the entire daily operation of a tutoring business: student records, QR attendance at the door, digital fee collection and receipts, automatic WhatsApp updates to parents, teacher payouts, and live reporting. We sell to two customers: tutoring centers, and independent teachers running their own groups.</p><p></p><p>We are hiring our first two Sales Representatives to sell it across Cairo and Giza.</p><p></p><p>You are not selling software. You are convincing an owner who has run his center on paper for fifteen years that there is a better way, and then showing him. That is a harder sell and a far more satisfying one.</p><p></p><p>This is a field role, not a desk job. You will be out visiting tutoring centers, meeting owners face to face, running demos, and closing. The office is in 6th of October.</p><p></p><p>Read this part carefully. The base salary is a floor, not your income. Commission is uncapped and it is where the money is. A rep hitting target earns far more from commission than from base. A rep who does not sell will not be happy here. If you want a comfortable fixed salary, this is not the job. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</b></p> <p>Description</p> <p>Storage Administration</p> <p>Carry out all Infrastructure storage related configuration activities including storage and hosts zoning, storage provisioning, copy services and masking, disaster recovery configuration and replication for the different SAN storage technologies and platforms to provide the bank applications with the required storage with the maximum performance.</p> <p>Design, Install and operate the Network Area Storage (NAS) infrastructure and work on continuous improvement for the performance while ensuring high standard of security and vulnerabilities remediation.</p> <p>Configure, maintain and manage continuous data protection for databases and critical systems (EMC Recover point) and support during recovery of those database and critical systems.</p> <p>Review the storage platforms and SAN switches software and firmware life cycles review vendors functional and security newsletters and carry out software and firmware upgrades, apply fixes and security patches.</p> <p>Ensure all storage platforms and SAN switches, storage replication and continuous data protection are monitored, logging, alerting and notifications are enabled/configured along with employing specialized monitoring tools for each storage and SAN connectivity technology (Brocade Network advisor, IBM STOR2RRD, EMC Viber SRM, etc.) which will give deep insights on the storage and san switches performance and healthiness in order to act proactively on predictive failures or bugs.</p> <p>Perform large scale migrations and upgrades during storage technology refreshes and capacity upgrades to provide better storage performance, and connectivity along with storage resources availability. </p> <p>Participate in storage solutions upgrade design, architecture reviews, security reviews, capacity planning, and performance trend analysis.</p> <p>Troubleshoot storage performance, connectivity issues, replication and continuous data protection issues along with providing root cause analysis and provide support to other teams during issues.</p> <p>Perform on-going tuning, capacity efficiency, cleansing and resources reclamation to ensure that storage resources are being utilized optimally and to ensure the availability of storage resources.</p> <p>Perform and automate ongoing health checks, capacity utilization trend analysis, and conduct risk assessment exercises for backup solutions to ensure efficiency, availability and smooth functionality.</p> <p>Continuously ensure Disaster Recovery Readiness, replication functionality and conduct disaster recovery tests to validate the configuration and readiness.</p> <p>Apply fixes and security patches to remediate security issues, comply with the global security standards (PCI, ISO, etc.), close audit requirements and findings and support the bank strategy for implementing security baselines.</p> <p>Apply technology best practices, upgrades, apply vendor recommendations service and operation level agreements (SLA/OLA), in addition to abiding to target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). And provide support to the applications different teams during projects and implementations and changes.</p> <p>Policies, Processes and Procedures</p> <p>Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner</p> <p>Day-to-day operations</p> <p>Follow day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Infrastructure Management department to ensure continuity of work.</p> <p>Compliance</p> <p>Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph">*</p><p>Qualifications &amp; Experience</p> <p>Bachelor Degree of Computer science, Information system or Equivalent Degree.</p> <p>Administrator: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure services and storage administration.</p> <p>Senior Administrator: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in infrastructure services and storage administration.</p> <p>Good Knowledge in the following technologies:</p> <p>Brocade SAN and IBM Storage (SVC, ESS, TPC)</p> <p>EMC Data Domain, VMAX, PowerMAX and RecoverPoint</p> <p>Storage Area Networking (SAN) and Network Area Storage (NAS) concepts</p> <p>Operating Systems (UNIX, MS Windows, Solaris, Linux) and Host Bus Adapter concepts</p> <p>Scripting experience</p> <p>Minimum to have one certification</p> <p>IBM, EMC or Brocade Storage related Certificate</p> <p>Skills</p> <p>Good command of English and Arabic languages</p> <p>Good Communication and Presentation skills</p> <p>Good Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving skills</p> <p>Background of ITIL foundations</p><p></p></section>
