A company operating in the field of importing fabrics from China and distributing it in the local market seeks an Import and International Shipping Officer. <br><strong>Communication with suppliers:</strong> Manage all correspondence with our fabric mills and suppliers in China to complete the shipping process.<br><strong>Shipping operations management:</strong> Full coordination of container booking and shipping operations, monitoring shipping lines and clearing agents.<br><strong>Preparation of papers and documents:</strong> Prepare and review all import documents (pro forma invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list, and other required papers) and ensure their compliance with local laws and customs.<br><strong>Shipment tracking:</strong> Follow the journey of the container from its movement at Chinese ports until it reaches the local port.<br><strong>Customs clearance:</strong> Coordinate with the customs broker to resolve any obstacles and ensure speed in releasing the containers.<br><strong>Delivery to warehouses:</strong> Follow up on transferring containers from the port and complete unloading and receipt safely at the company warehouses.<br><strong>Requirements and conditions:</strong><br>Experience of 3-5 years in the field of import and logistics support (preferably with prior experience in the fabrics, spinning, and weaving sector).<br>Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) for easy communication with suppliers.<br>Precise knowledge of customs procedures, government electronic systems adopted (e.g., Nafath/Nafitha system), and shipping documents.<br>Working days: Saturday to Thursday<br>Working hours: 9 AM - 5 PM or 10 AM - 6 PM<br>Work location: Cairo, Helwan Street (Gisr Al-Soufis).
