What will you be responsible for?

In this role, you will manage the entire customs clearance cycle for import and export shipments, whether for sea, air, or land transport, ensuring all procedures are implemented according to Egyptian customs regulations.

You will review all shipping documents, ensure their accuracy and completeness before submission, and monitor customs declarations through to final release of shipments.

You will also be responsible for managing all operations related to the CargoX platform and the NAFEZA system, from uploading documents and reviewing ACI and ACID data, to ensuring all requirements are met before goods are shipped.

Through daily collaboration with the customs authority, customs brokers, shipping lines, and logistics companies, you will address any operational challenges or customs notes to ensure procedures are completed as quickly as possible.

You will also monitor performance indicators, analyze the reasons for any delays, and propose practical solutions to improve clearance efficiency and reduce shipment release times.

You are a good fit for this opportunity if...

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in customs clearance within international shipping, logistics, or customs clearance companies.

You have proven hands-on experience using CargoX and NAFEZA and ACI procedures.

You are well-versed in Egyptian customs laws and procedures, with experience dealing with the customs authority and various government agencies.

You have experience in reviewing import/export documents, HS code classification, and handling sea, air, and land shipments.

You are meticulous, organized, and capable of managing more than one shipment at a time.

You have strong communication skills and know how to build professional relationships with clients, suppliers, partners, and government entities.

You are proficient in Microsoft Excel; having ERP or TMS system experience is a plus.
