Senior Software Engineer<p>About the Role</p><br><p>We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, working across the full software development lifecycle from architecture through deployment. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and driving technical excellence — including exploring how AI agents and agentic workflows can accelerate engineering and product delivery.</p><br><p>What You'll Do</p><br><p>- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot</p><br><p>- Build and maintain RESTful APIs that power internal and external applications</p><br><p>- Design and optimize relational database schemas and queries using SQL (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)</p><br><p>- Design, build, and integrate agentic AI systems — LLM-powered agents, tool-calling workflows, and multi-step autonomous or semi-autonomous processes — into product and engineering workflows</p><br><p>- Evaluate and apply AI coding assistants and agent frameworks to improve developer productivity and software quality</p><br><p>- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions</p><br><p>- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews</p><br><p>- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner</p><br><p>- Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions, including where agentic/AI components fit into the broader architecture</p><br><p>- Mentor junior engineers and help raise the technical bar across the team</p><br><p>- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)</p><br><p>What We're Looking For</p><br><p>- 5+ years of professional software development experience</p><br><p>- Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework</p><br><p>- Proven experience designing and building REST APIs</p><br><p>- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)</p><br><p>- Hands-on experience building or integrating agentic AI systems — e.g., LLM tool-use/function-calling, multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, or autonomous task execution (frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar)</p><br><p>- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in a professional engineering workflow</p><br><p>- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture patterns</p><br><p>- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines</p><br><p>- Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development practices</p><br><p>- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</p><br><p>- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</p><br><p>Nice to Have</p><br><p>- Experience with microservices architecture</p><br><p>- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)</p><br><p>- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)</p><br><p>- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)</p><br><p>- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization</p><br><p>- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation/observability, or AI governance/safety practices</p><br><p>Qualifications</p><br><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)</p><br> </div>
