<p>Job objective Determines donor suitability to undergo plasmapheresis procedure including vital sign determination, medical history questioning, HCT/TP/weight determination and set up, disconnect, and operation of the automated plasmapheresis machine. Monitors donors ensuring safe and successful plasmapheresis procedures. Assists in the plasma collection process under the supervision of a certified employee and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures Manual guidelines. May also perform all auto pheresis technician operator functions including response and evaluation of all trouble shooting displays.</p><p>Key responsibility - Conducts pre-donation medical screening in accordance with established guidelines. - Determines Hematocrit (HCT) and Protein via finger stick and use of the hematastat and refractometer. - Promotes customer satisfaction through appropriate interaction and responsiveness to customer needs. - Assesses donor suitability and engages in set-up, monitor, and disconnect procedures of the plasmapheresis machine and donors. - Provides appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates. - Ensures all donor screening information is complete and accurate prior to donation. - Ensures donor confidentiality and effectively communicates donor medical information to Medical Staff. - Establishes and maintains donor files in an organized and efficient manner. - Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of necessary records. - Reports all unsafe working situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor or manager. - Assists in emergency medical procedures when necessary. - Learns and maintains thorough familiarity and compliance with all local competent authority regulations, Standard Operating Procedure Manual, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and internal company procedures.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Academic experience required Nurse or Health Technical Institute graduate or equivalent</p><p>Professional experience required 1 years of clinical experience. Experience with plasma or whole blood, and with cGMP regulated environment preferred.</p><p>Computing skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.</p><p>Personal skills - Communication and customer service skills. - Organized and able to manage time effectively. - Ability to work within a highly regulated, labor intensive, fast paced medical environment - Ability to understand and follow SOPs and protocols.</p><p>Languages Written and spoken English and Arabic.</p>

<p>Care for plasma donor during plasmapheresis activity through successful donor and instrument setup, through successful collection process, and then successfully disconnect donor and complete initial processing unit of plasma unit. The employee maintains equipment and environment to assure a successful donor outcome and maintains professional and positive attitude to promote a calm and professional environment for the potential donor. - Rotational Shifts (not fixed), 5 working days and 2 days off, 8 working hours (Morning &amp; Night)</p><h3>Key responsibility</h3><ul><li>Assists in determining the suitability of donors to undergo plasmapheresis prior to venipuncture.</li><li>Responds to and assists with handling donor reactions in accordance with guidelines</li><li>Monitors donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.</li><li>Sets up, disconnects and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines including response and evaluation of all auto pheresis troubleshooting displays, documentation of exceptions, etc.</li><li>Ensures the proper calibration and maintenance of auto pheresis machines and associated equipment.</li><li>May be trained to repair plasma equipment.</li><li>Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.</li><li>Ensures proper cleaning of equipment and work area between donors.</li><li>Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of production records.</li><li>Ensures donor confidentiality.</li><li>Builds rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction with the center to support long-term donation.</li><li>Learns and maintains thorough familiarity and compliance with all local competent authority regulations. <p><b>Job Objective&nbsp;</b></p><p><br></p><p>The plasma processor processes both units and samples for initial freezing; packs plasma for final shipment; packs samples for shipment to testing lab; assists in shipping both samples and units; and maintains area equipment and supplies. Environment Internal: Donor Center Management and Medical staff. External: donors, patient groups, auditors, and community and neighborhood organizations. Key responsibility Collects and processes donor samples for processing and testing. Labels samples and freezes units for final packing within required timeframe. Participates in unit management according to SOP. Packs units for final shipment; packs samples and prepares shipping box to send samples to the testing lab. Monitors stored product to ensure time requirements are met. Monitors and reports working conditions of equipment. For all affected in-house units, the Plasma Processor should pull all affected units and corresponding customer and backup samples from their cases in the freezer and from cases in GNS under full supervision of the CM/COM. Plasma Processor should place all affected units and corresponding customer samples in a secured biowaste container under full supervision of the CM/COM. Maintains active communication with other service areas to ensure accurate documentation and quality. Completes all necessary documentation. Ensures donor confidentiality. Builds rapport with donors to ensure overall satisfaction with the center to support long-term donation. Learns and maintains thorough familiarity and compliance with all local competent authority regulations, Standard Operating Procedure Manual, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and internal company procedures. Maintains supplies necessary to perform job duties. Reports all unsafe working situations or conditions to area lead, supervisor or manager.
