Diagnosis and repair of electrical and control faults in distribution panels, protection switches, AC and DC motors, transformers, and UPS power systems. Maintenance and inspection of PLC systems, industrial control units (HMI, I/O modules), and sensor and motor connectors (VFD/AC drives), and programming/adjusting PLC programs when needed (per engineering instructions). Conduct periodic electrical file checks, insulation testing, current and voltage measurements, and earth and system protection tests. Implement and maintain cables, connections, cabling, and cable routing management. Perform preventive maintenance on electric motors, generators, insulation switches, circuit breakers, and control panels. Verify protective settings (relays) and adjust them in coordination with the maintenance engineer to ensure equipment and circuit protection. Record all maintenance work, tests, and measurements in the CMMS and prepare fault reports and root cause analyses. Contribute to projects for installing new machines, integrating control systems, and testing systems before operation (SAT). Monitor spare parts inventory for electrical and control equipment and propose purchase orders when needed. Implement electrical safety procedures and lead safety activities (lockout/tagout, discharge of charges, use of personal protective equipment). Role Description   The Oil & Gas Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging oil and gas clients, promoting steel products (ERW Line Pipes) for petroleum-related applications, and developing tailored technical and commercial proposals. The Sales Engineer will manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, conduct site and client visits, and provide technical guidance on product selection and specifications. Daily activities include coordinating with engineering and production teams, preparing quotations and contracts, monitoring market trends and competitors, and maintaining long-term client relationships. The role also involves achieving sales targets, participating in industry events, and providing regular reports and forecasts to management.   Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Industrial, or related discipline) or Business Administration.  3–5 years of proven sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Previous experience in the sales of Line Pipe / OCTG is a plus. Previous Oil & Gas field operations experience is a plus.
