This involves maintaining HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, operating assets and systems, and non-selling furniture in a condition that promotes the image and brand of IKEA. Success in this role relies on adhering to the store's standard operating procedures, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining store conditions at a high level.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Will Do:<br><br></strong>Operational<br><br><ul><li>Maintain the store in 'Shape as New' by performing all-round building maintenance and repair functions according to the planned maintenance process.</li><li>Diagnose and repair building assets, equipment, and facilities using journey-level maintenance skills.</li><li>Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment as per PPM schedule.</li><li>Handle daily diagnosis and maintenance of systems such as Mechanical, HVAC, FAHU, AHU, UPS, FCU, VFD, Electrical & Plumbing, and more.</li><li>Assist in preparing specifications and scope of work for premises work carried out by external contractors.</li><li>Use shop machinery, hand tools, and specialized technical & measurement tools effectively.</li><li>Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and consumables, requesting replenishment when necessary.</li><li>Be a liaison with various external service providers for maintenance activities.</li><li>Contribute to a safe work environment following guidelines from Internal, Local/Federal, and Inter IKEA Group Risk.</li><li>Foster a service-oriented approach with all departments.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills To Be Successful:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Technical knowledge of facilities management and building maintenance.</li><li>Experience with Specialized Building Systems such as BMS and Electrical Systems.</li><li>Proficiency in using technical and measurement tools effectively.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What Qualifies You For The Role:<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School/Trade School Graduate.</li><li>3-5 years proven experience in Building Maintenance.</li><li>Knowledge of fire and security systems.</li><li>Technical knowledge of Facilities Management (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and/or Building Maintenance activities in a large-scale retail store or mall environment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>About Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate<br><br></strong>The real estate development and operations arm of Al-Futtaim, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate is responsible for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across MENA.
