<span>Valleysoft is an IT services provider delivering enterprise technology solutions, application development, infrastructure support, and process-focused services for clients worldwide.<br> Working across a broad range of client needs, the company helps organizations run critical systems reliably, securely, and efficiently while supporting long-term operational performance.<br> In this role, you will help safeguard and strengthen the database environments that underpin business-critical applications.<br> This is an opportunity to contribute across enterprise database operations, reliability, security, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with technical teams to support stable, high-performing services.<br> Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server environments.<br> Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize efficiency.<br> Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.<br> Ensure database availability and business continuity through regular maintenance and monitoring.<br> Implement database security, user management, access controls, and encryption policies.<br> Execute database patching, upgrades, and migration activities.<br> Monitor storage utilization and support capacity planning.<br> Troubleshoot database incidents and resolve performance-related issues.<br> Support production, UAT, SIT, and development database environments.<br> Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and development teams to resolve database-related issues.<br> Maintain database documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.<br> Perform database health checks and preventive maintenance activities.<br> Ensure compliance with banking security standards and internal IT policies.<br> Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities when required.<br> Private Health Insurance Training & Development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.<br> 1–5 years of hands-on experience in database administration.<br> Experience administering both Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server in production environments, including support for banking applications.<br> Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery operations, along with database patching and routine maintenance.<br> Strong experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting production database issues.<br> Experience with database security administration, including user and role management, access control, least-privilege configuration, password policies, and basic auditing.<br> Experience collaborating with application support, infrastructure, and internal IT teams to troubleshoot incidents, coordinate maintenance activities, and restore database services.<br> Eligibility to work in Egypt.<br> Experience in banking or financial services environments is a plus.<br></span> </div>

Because, for this vital role, were looking for someone who: - has Sense of hospitality - has prior work experience in hotel operational departments - has proven track record successful administration - has the ability to handle guest complaints with a smile - has great interpersonal skills.</p><br><p>Your day to day </p><br><ul><li>Carry out all administrative work of the Director of rooms to give the director the opportunity to spend maximum time on strategic tasks.</li><li>Seek guests’ direct input and use them proactively to increase Guest Love on Heartbeat system and improve guest experience.</li><li>Monitor guests feedback on social media as well as heartbeat and report performance gaps and recommendation to address them.</li><li>Maintain, organize and control all Rooms Division documentation and data files, ensuring accuracy, version control and confidentiality of sensitive records.</li><li>Manage and coordinate the the Director of rooms calendar, appointments and daily schedule, proactively resolving conflicts and prioritizing time-sensitive commitments.</li><li>Organize and prepare agendas for departmental meetings, take and distribute minutes, and track action items through to completion.</li><li>Track deadlines and commitments across the Director of rooms, following up with department heads to ensure timely completion of tasks and action plans.</li><li>Prepare, consolidate and analyze operational and performance reports (occupancy, guest satisfaction, departmental goals) to support data-driven decisions and improve reporting efficiency.</li><li>Maintain and update departmental vacation, leave and attendance balances, ensuring accurate scheduling and coordinating requests with department heads.</li><li>Draft, review and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails and reports on behalf of the the Director of rooms, ensuring accuracy and brand-appropriate tone.</li><li>Act as the key point of contact between the the Director of rooms, department heads, hotel leadership and external stakeholders.</li><li>Handle confidential information, contracts and departmental licenses with discretion, keeping compliance documentation current.</li><li>Coordinate travel, logistics and administrative resources needed to support the Director of rooms schedule and department operations.</li><li>Liaise with hotel leadership team and staff to ensure that quality standards are properly functioning</li></ul><p>What we need from you</p><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree</li><li>Must speak local language(s)</li><li>Other languages preferred</li><li>3–5 years of experience as an Executive Secretary, Executive Assistant or similar administrative role, ideally within a hotel or Rooms Division environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document/data management systems</li><li>Excellent organizational, multitasking and time-management skills, with high attention to detail and discretion</li></ul><p><br>What you can expect from us</p><br><p>We give our people everything they need to succeed.
