Occupational Safety and Health Specialist (HSE Specialist)Responsibilities: Implement and follow up on occupational safety and health procedures inside the factory according to approved policies and standards. Conduct regular inspection rounds to ensure compliance with safety requirements, identify potential risks, and take necessary corrective actions. Assess occupational risks for production areas, warehouses, and production lines and implement appropriate preventive measures. Investigate accidents and injuries and near misses, preparing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence. Ensure workers comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and apply safety instructions during work. Monitor the validity of firefighting equipment and alarm systems, emergency exits, first aid readiness and ensure readiness. Develop and implement safety and occupational health awareness and training programs for all workers. Monitor compliance with general cleanliness rules and health requirements within the factory in line with the food industry environment. Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals used in operations, cleaning, and disinfection. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure a safe working environment compliant with food safety requirements. Participate in internal and external audits related to safety, occupational health, and food safety. Prepare periodic safety reports, safety records, and track incident and injury performance indicators. - Prepare, develop, and update quality policies and procedures and the quality management system.
- Ensure implementation of approved quality standards within the company.
- Prepare and review work instructions, procedures, and templates.
- Implement internal audit programs and monitor their results.
- Analyze root causes and establish corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management or a related field (depending on activity).
- Experience in quality or quality control.
- Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or related standards.
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis.
