Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements. Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. <h4>About the role</h4>
<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Fit-Out Coordinator (MEP) to support the coordination and monitoring of tenant fit-out activities across our shopping malls. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that MEP works are completed in accordance with approved standards, mall requirements, and project timelines.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for candidates with an educational background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering who are looking to develop their experience in commercial fit-out and facilities operations.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Assist in coordinating tenant fit-out works related to MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.</li>
<li>Support the review of MEP drawings, material submittals, and technical documents to ensure compliance with mall standards and local regulations.</li>
<li>Conduct routine site inspections and monitor fit-out progress to ensure quality and safety requirements are met.</li>
<li>Coordinate with tenants, contractors, consultants, and internal teams regarding fit-out activities and site access requirements.</li>
<li>Assist in identifying technical issues during fit-out works and follow up on corrective actions under the guidance of senior team members.</li>
<li>Support testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems before tenant handover.</li>
<li>Maintain fit-out records, inspection reports, and project documentation.</li>
<li>Assist in monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are completed within approved timelines.</li>
<li>Support emergency maintenance coordination when required.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during fit-out activities.</li>
<li>Stay updated on basic MEP standards, fit-out procedures, and industry practices.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering</li>
<li>1–3 years of experience in MEP, fit-out coordination, facilities management, or construction projects.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with technical drawings and MEP coordination processes is an advantage.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office applications.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced retail environment.</li>

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately track and record cash flow.
