<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><br></p><p><b>Purpose</b> The Protection of Family Links Field Officer supports the implementation and monitoring of ICRC restoring family links (PFL) activities. S/he ensures that the visitors and/or callers leave with a positive impression of the ICRC and that the ICRC understands the visiitors and/or callers needs and can respond to them appropriately.</p><p>Accountabilities & functional responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develops and maintains contacts with separated families, or families of missing and/or other enquirers.</li><li>Understands their situation, needs and requests, in the framework of the Cairo Delegation strategy and under the supervision of the line manager.</li><li>Implements Protection Family Links activities according to the guidelines; in particular, collection of tracing cases and its corresponding follow-up and ensures a proper documentation and information sharing with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Performs internal and external follow-up of individual cases under the supervision of the line manager.</li><li>Receives visitors and/or calls and ensures that visits and/or calls are appropriately followed up and receive a timely response.</li><li>Carries out filing and archiving tasks in line with standard procedures.</li><li>Assists in institutional exercises relating to planning, budgeting and monitoring programs.</li><li>Represents the ICRC in an appropriate way and prepares and reports on and follow up on internal and external meetings, also prepares, participates in and reports on all aspects of field visits.</li><li>Develops and maintains contact with humanitarian and civil society organizations, service providers, external stakeholders, in line with the requirements of their manager.</li><li>Translates or interprets upon request.</li><li>Carries out administrative tasks relating to the follow-up of Protection Family Links field assignments.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>University degree or relevant professional experience.</li><li>Computer skills..</li><li>Typically, 3-5 years experience in the field of social, political or economic sciences or similar.</li><li>Experience with the ICRC or another humanitarian agency an asset.</li><li>Experience as a social worker, case worker or similar in a humanitarian organization an asset.</li><li>Excellent command spoken and written of English and Arabic.</li></ul><p></p></section>

<span>Valleysoft is an IT services provider delivering enterprise technology, application development, process management, and IT support solutions to clients around the world.<br> Working across the Information Technology and Services sector, the company supports business-critical platforms and operations with a focus on reliability, service quality, and operational excellence.<br> This role sits at the heart of payment application support, helping ensure that critical banking and financial messaging platforms run smoothly, securely, and in line with operational and regulatory expectations.<br> You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to support essential payment services, resolve production issues, and help maintain the stability of systems that underpin high-value financial operations.<br> Responsibilities Provide Level 2/3 production support for critical banking payment applications and financial messaging platforms.<br> Configure and maintain payment routing rules, message formats, user roles, and system parameters.<br> Support SWIFT MT/MX financial messaging and troubleshoot payment processing, routing, and connectivity issues.<br> Monitor payment applications, investigate transaction failures, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.<br> Maintain system security, access controls, operational configurations, and compliance with banking regulations.<br> Support integration across payment systems, clearing systems, banking applications, and external financial networks.<br> Participate in production releases, change activities, post-deployment validation, and root cause analysis.<br> Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, audit evidence, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.<br> Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs/KPIs.<br> Participate in on-call or shift-based support when required.<br> Private Health Insurance Training & Development 5+ years of application support experience, including senior-level or Level 2/3 support responsibilities.<br> Hands-on production support experience for payment systems or payment hubs, including supporting critical payment applications in a banking or financial services environment.<br> Proven experience handling critical payment incidents, investigating transaction failures, rejects, duplicates, reversals, and reconciliation discrepancies, and managing production incidents within agreed SLAs.<br> Practical experience with SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Alliance Gateway, or SWIFT RMA, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot SWIFT MT/MX payment messages.<br> Strong SQL querying and transaction investigation skills, along with experience tracing payment issues end to end through application and server log analysis.<br> Experience with Linux or Unix administration, including log analysis, process or service checks, troubleshooting, and using monitoring tools to track application health, transactions, failures, and system availability.<br> Experience using ITSM or ticketing tools to manage incidents, problems, service requests, and changes within SLA commitments.<br> Strong understanding of payment processing flows, including initiation, validation, routing, processing, and completion, with hands-on experience in ACH, clearing systems, or equivalent local payment rails.<br> Understanding of reconciliation and settlement processes, along with experience working within AML/CTF and financial crime control environments.<br> Knowledge of payment security, banking regulatory requirements, operational controls, and SWIFT CSP requirements.<br> Ability to perform root cause analysis for recurring or high-severity payment incidents, and experience working within formal change-management processes, production releases, and post-deployment validation for payment applications.<br> Experience maintaining support runbooks, operational documentation, and audit or compliance evidence, and coordinating with payment operations, core banking or integration teams, infrastructure or platform teams, security or compliance teams, QA or release teams, and business or operations stakeholders during payment incidents and changes.<br> Eligibility to work in Egypt.<br> Availability for rotating shifts, occasional weekend or public-holiday coverage, and on-call support in a 24/7 production support environment.<br></span> </div>
