Strong knowledge of mine design, ground control, ventilation, backfill and UG mobile equipment interaction rules. Proficiency in shift reporting and Microsoft Office; familiarity with site digital reporting tools. Valid driving licence; medical fitness for underground work; ability to work rotating shift rosters and extended hours as required.

<ul><li><p>Manage and ensure the efficient operation and availability of the fleet.</p></li><li><p>Develop and monitor preventive and periodic maintenance plans.</p></li><li><p>Follow up on breakdowns and repairs to minimize vehicle <strong>Downtime</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company policies.</p></li><li><p>Monitor fuel consumption and analyze fuel efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Manage spare parts requirements and maintenance inventory.</p></li><li><p>Monitor fleet operating and maintenance costs and drive cost reduction.</p></li><li><p>Ensure vehicle licenses, insurance, and inspections are valid and up to date.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with road safety, HSE, and company standards.</p></li><li><p>Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, costs, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree; preferably <strong>Mechanical Engineering</strong> or a graduate of a <strong>Military Technical College/Institute</strong>.</p></li><li><p><strong>10 –12 years of experience</strong> in Fleet Management, Maintenance & Operations.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in the maintenance of <strong>vehicles, trucks, and equipment</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in <strong>driver management, fleet operations, and route planning</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage breakdowns and minimize vehicle <strong>Downtime</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of monitoring and analyzing <strong>GPS, Fuel Consumption, and Maintenance Costs</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong <strong>reporting and analytical skills</strong>, particularly in operating and maintenance cost analysis.</p></li></ul><p></p>
