The role will strengthen Daikin’s relationships with key consulting firms, increase product specification and specification conversion, expand the consultant network, and contribute to market share growth across the region.<br><br>The position will work closely with the Applied Business, Project Sales, Business Development and Marketing teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, secure specifications and support successful project conversion.<br><br> How you will contribute Sales & Business Development <br><br> Lead the development and day-to-day management of Consulting Sales activities for Applied, VRV and Refrigeration solutions. Develop the Applied Consulting Sales business across the region by leveraging opportunities and leads generated through the existing VRV Consulting Sales network. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and key decision-makers within consulting firms, engineering consultants, developers and other relevant stakeholders. Establish Daikin as a preferred HVAC technology and solutions partner through consistent engagement, technical support and value-based selling. Develop and maintain a comprehensive consultant database and account segmentation, including strategic account plans and annual coverage plans, initially focusing on the UAE and subsequently expanding across the region. Identify, develop and manage consultant opportunities to increase the inquiry base and improve Daikin’s specification pipeline. Develop and implement a structured specification/spec-in strategy, including target accounts, products, projects and conversion plans. Drive the specification of Daikin Applied, VRV and Refrigeration solutions within major commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. Work closely with the Project Sales team to support the conversion of specifications and inquiries into successful orders. Identify new business opportunities, market segments and strategic accounts that can contribute to revenue and market share growth. Monitor project pipelines and provide regular updates on key opportunities, specifications and market developments. <br><br> Consulting & Technical Sales <br><br> Provide high-level technical and application support to consultants, designers, developers, end users and other key stakeholders. Support consultants with HVAC design solutions, product selection, system application and technical recommendations. Promote Daikin products and solutions through technical seminars, workshops, consultant meetings, presentations and other engagement activities. Develop and coordinate technical and promotional materials in collaboration with the HQ Business Development and Marketing teams. Conduct product, application and solution training for consultants, customers and relevant internal stakeholders. Ensure Daikin solutions are appropriately positioned within consultant designs, specifications and tender documentation. Keep abreast of HVAC technologies, industry developments, regulations, customer requirements and competitive solutions. <br><br> Strategic Responsibilities <br><br> Contribute to the development and execution of the Consulting Sales and Applied Business strategy. Develop and execute a strategic consultant engagement plan aligned with Daikin’s regional business objectives. Identify opportunities to strengthen Daikin’s consultant network and increase market penetration and specification share. Analyse business performance, project pipeline, specification activity and market data to identify opportunities for improved performance. Conduct competitor, customer and market analysis and provide actionable recommendations to management. Identify market trends and emerging technologies that may create opportunities for Daikin’s Applied, VRV and Refrigeration portfolio. Work with the line manager and Applied Business team to define priorities, targets and action plans for Consulting Sales. <br><br> Cross-Functional Collaboration <br><br> Work closely with the Applied Business team to align consulting activities with product, application and commercial strategies. Partner with Project Sales to maximise specification-to-order conversion. Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing on consultant engagement, seminars, campaigns and promotional activities. Coordinate with regional and country teams to ensure effective follow-up and coverage of strategic consulting accounts. Share market intelligence, customer feedback and competitive insights across relevant Daikin teams. <br><br>Qualifications & Experience Education<br><br> Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Additional qualifications in business, sales or HVAC systems would be an advantage. <br><br>Experience<br><br> Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in HVAC, preferably with exposure to Applied systems, VRV/VRF and/or Refrigeration. Proven experience in consulting sales, specification sales, business development or technical sales within the HVAC industry. Strong experience working with engineering consultants, MEP consultants, developers, contractors and end users. Demonstrated track record of developing consultant relationships and influencing HVAC specifications. Strong understanding of the engineering, construction and MEP industry across Egypt.
