A PhD is preferred but not required. Several years of hands-on industry or research CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing. Solid verification and validation practice: mesh-independence studies, and validation against experiment or benchmarks. Comfortable with Python and GitHub. English at B2 level or above. Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience.</p>

Strong full-stack engineering skills across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, debugging, and deployment. Strong experience with React Native, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, or the ability to become productive in them quickly. Solid backend experience, ideally with Python/Django and PHP, or comparable experience with similar backend frameworks. Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases, debug complex issues, and make safe changes in production systems. Comfortable using AI development tools responsibly, while still reviewing, testing, and understanding the generated code. Strong understanding of architecture, maintainability, trade-offs, performance, security, and long-term code quality. Ability to take ownership of unclear technical problems and turn them into reliable shipped solutions.</p>
