Position Overview As the Human Resources Business Partner of the Egypt subsidiary, this role is responsible for supporting local organizational development and business execution, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits coordination, labor compliance, and general administration. The role ensures efficient and stable personnel management, office operations, and external compliance matters in Egypt.<br>I. HR Business Partner Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Support Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, headcount planning, and annual labor cost budgeting. Performance Management and Talent Development Promote and implement the performance management system within the Egypt subsidiary and organize related appraisal processes. Support business teams in goal setting, performance tracking, and KPI management. Assist in key talent review, succession planning, and employee development to enhance organizational stability and talent pipeline building.4. Employee Relations Management Handle employee complaints, disciplinary cases, and labor dispute matters, provide professional advice, and facilitate proper resolution. Ensure employee relations cases, investigation records, and resolution decisions are properly documented in complete written files. Provide management and employees with guidance on Egyptian labor laws and employment practices to mitigate employment risks.5. Compensation, Benefits, and Social Insurance Coordination Coordinate payroll calculation and payment, working closely with finance or external service providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate and follow up on statutory social insurance, provident fund, or other government-mandated contributions as applicable. Support implementation of employee benefits policies and daily benefits administration to improve employee experience and compliance.6. Labor Compliance Management Ensure that HR management practices of the Egypt subsidiary comply with Egyptian labor law, social insurance, tax, and other regulatory requirements. Liaise with local government authorities, labor regulators, and external legal/consulting firms when necessary. Establish and maintain labor contracts, employee files, policies, and compliance documentation to ensure completeness and traceability. II. Administration Responsibilities1. Office Management Oversee the daily operations of the Egypt office to ensure smooth office environment, administrative processes, and support services. Manage office supplies, fixed assets, and administrative vendors. Coordinate office repairs, facility management, and logistics support.2. Government Affairs and License Compliance Assist in handling and following up on the company’s business licenses, permits, filings, and annual renewals in Egypt. Liaise with investment, tax, customs, industrial park, or other government authorities as required by business needs. Support visa, work permit, residence procedures, and related administrative coordination for expatriate employees.3. Travel and Logistics Support Arrange flights, hotels, transportation, and other travel needs for employees and visitors. Support administrative coordination and logistics arrangements for project sites or cross-regional business activities.4. Vendor and Contract Management Manage local administrative service providers and maintain stable and compliant cooperation relationships. Assist in reviewing administrative contracts, service agreements, and procurement documents, and follow up on execution.5. Corporate Activities and Internal Communication Organize company events, employee care initiatives, and culture-building activities to enhance team cohesion. Support internal communication mechanisms to strengthen information flow and collaboration among headquarters, regional teams, and the Egypt subsidiary. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.5–8 years of HR-related experience, including at least 2 years as an HRBP or independently managing comprehensive local HR operations. Experience in administration or office management, with the ability to handle both HR and administrative matters in an integrated manner. Familiar with Egyptian labor law, employment relations management, social insurance, and related compliance requirements. Background in engineering construction, new energy, manufacturing, or multinational companies is preferred. Strong English communication skills, with the ability to conduct daily work reporting, cross-cultural collaboration, and policy communication in English; Arabic language skills are preferred. Strong ability to work independently, with solid execution, accountability, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to the relatively independent HR management environment of an overseas subsidiary.

<p>Field Coordinators are key staff responsible for the day-to-day coordination of project activities on the ground. They serve as the primary link between the project and local stakeholders including partner CSOs (sub-grantees and others) and local authorities to facilitate communication, organize activities, and monitor progress in their respective locations. Key Responsibilities: Act as the project s representative in the assigned governorate, maintaining regular communication with local civil society partners and beneficiaries. The Field Coordinator will build strong working relationships with CSOs (including sub-grantees and other mentee organizations), relevant local government authorities, and community stakeholders. Support and participate in the project s needs assessment and data collection efforts at the local level. This may involve arranging interviews, focus group discussions, and surveys with CSO leaders, community members, and officials to gather baseline information and feedback for the project. Facilitate the implementation of project activities in the field. Coordinate the logistics of capacity-building training and workshops taking place in the governorate (e.g., securing venues, mobilizing participants, distributing materials) and ensure these events run smoothly. Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to sub-grantee CSOs in the area. Be available to answer their day-to-day queries, assist in problem-solving, and coach them through challenges in project execution, thereby strengthening their capacity. Monitor sub-grantees project activities on the ground through regular site visits and meetings. The Field Coordinator will observe trainings or community events conducted by the sub-grantees, verify delivery of services to beneficiaries, and check that activities align with the agreed project plans. Any issues or deviations should be reported and addressed promptly. Assist sub-grantees in complying with project standards and donor requirements. For example, help them understand and follow guidelines on branding, participant data collection, or financial documentation when spending grant funds. Organize and participate in local consultative meetings between CSOs and local officials , as planned by the project. The Field Coordinator will handle on-the-ground preparations for these meetings and encourage active participation, thus contributing to improved CSO-government dialogue in the governorate. (These efforts support the project s objective of close CSO-local authority consultation and coordination.) Coordinate the involvement of LMF s local volunteer network in project activities. The Field Coordinator will mobilize and guide volunteers for tasks such as community outreach, data collection, assisting in training delivery, or supporting sub-grant events, leveraging LMF s strong volunteer presence in the region. Regularly report on field progress to the central project team. This includes providing weekly or monthly updates on activities completed, data collected (e.g. training attendance, monitoring observations), challenges encountered, and any success stories. Contribute reliable field data to the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for measuring project results. Ensure that all field activities are conducted safely and ethically, respecting local customs and the project s cross-cutting principles (e.g. inclusiveness, gender sensitivity). The Field Coordinator should also handle any necessary local permissions or coordination meetings with authorities to secure support for project implementation. <p><strong>Main Purpose:</strong></p><p>Give support to external administrative work and to the coordination team in obtaining working/travel permits, as well as all official contacts, procedures and importation of goods, according to local and international laws and MSF procedures, in order to ensure the smooth running of MSF activities.</p><p></p><p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Together with the HRCo and PAM, ensure that all <strong>MSF</strong> staff has applied and obtained on time any visa, stay, travel or working permits in the mission country according to needs, and keep information on legal, administrative procedures</p></li><li><p>Maintain the support travel service in HQ informed about ongoing processes, specific situations or changes in the procedures related to visas, working permits, etc..</p></li><li><p>Know all the procedures that <strong>MSF</strong> needs to follow in order to import goods from any country and assist the mission in following these procedures, in cooperation with the LogCo and the logistic department of the mission.</p></li><li><p>Follow up clearances of <strong>MSF</strong> cargos and informs about any possible planned or extraordinary needs.</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain professional contacts with relevant authorities, depending on the context and the needs of the mission.</p></li><li><p>Arrange meetings related to administrative issues for the Head of Mission or the HRCO as well as attend them.</p></li><li><p>Keep a complete and updated detailed list of all useful contacts in the Country/Mission with names, telephones, addresses and other relevant details.</p></li><li><p>Ensure, together with the MCT members that all <strong>MSF</strong> activities are running lawfully and in agreement with the Memorandum of Understanding in all administrative or customs related issues and inform about any possible risks or problems.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that no illegal money is paid to any authorities or any individual, promoting and sharing <strong>MSF</strong> principles and values at all levels.</p></li><li><p>Keep all documentation and files updated, properly filed and easily accessible for the internal users.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Send the “Welcome To Egypt” package to International Mobile Staff (IMS) before arriving in the country, as well as prepare their welcome envelopes.</p></li><li><p>Arrange meet and assist services when needed and coordinate with the Logistics team all airport pickups and dropoffs.</p></li><li><p>Update the IMS accomodation tracker, and facilitate admin related matters related to the e-team guest houses</p></li><li><p>Facilitate all IMS immigration office visits, in a timely manner, making sure that IMS don’t exceed their visas.</p></li><li><p>Support in work permit submission process for IMS.</p></li><li><p>Follow up on reception of IMS recidency cards as well as work permits.</p></li><li><p>In laison with a third party, facilitate all internal flight and hotel bookings as well as dummy bookings for visa purposes when needed.</p></li><li><p>Prepare per diems for all staff travelling within Egypt.</p></li><li><p>In case of absence or gaps, cover the HR Assistant tasks in Coordination and/or projects.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s degree essential. Administration or communication related studies desirable.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>Desired previous experience two years in related relevant positions.</p><p>Work experience in MSF or other NGOs is an asset</p><p></p><p><strong>Languages:</strong></p><p>Fluency in Arabic and English essential</p><p></p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>Computer literacy (Microsoft tools, Internet), good networking skills</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Location: Maadi, Cairo.
