The role involves conducting routine tests, adjusting formulations when necessary, documenting production data, and collaborating with production and quality teams to resolve issues. The Production Chemist will also support continuous improvement initiatives, follow health and safety guidelines, and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.<br>Qualifications<br> <br>Strong knowledge and experience in the Chemical Industry, especially in detergents and personal care products. Analytical skills to interpret test results, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize formulations. Effective Communication skills for collaborating with production, quality, and management teams. Laboratory Skills, including handling equipment, conducting chemical analyses, and maintaining accurate records. Background in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, with understanding of industrial production processes. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in factory or industrial environments and familiarity with quality control systems is preferred.

The role ensures that only on-spec product is received, stored, managed, and loaded, and that all tank operations are executed safely and with discipline. This position will be based in Cairo and will require regular travel to El Dekheila Port as needed.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Terminal &amp; Tank Operations: Oversee all shore tank activities, including product receipt, storage, heating, circulation, drainage, and loading. Ensure smooth coordination of tank operations with vessel loading schedules and terminal logistics.</li><li>Quality Control &amp; Compliance: Own and monitor tank quality status, with full authority to approve or reject incoming material. Ensure strict compliance with product quality specifications and contractual requirements. Enforce correct sampling, testing, and handling procedures in line with SOPs and industry standards. Review, analyze, and validate laboratory results and surveyor reports, escalating deviations when required.</li><li>Inspection &amp; Coordination: Coordinate and supervise inspectors, surveyors, and third-party service providers during receipt and loading operations. Act as the primary point of contact for quality and operational inspections at the terminal.</li><li>HSE &amp; Asset Integrity: Enforce HSE standards, operational SOPs, and best practices across all terminal activities. Ensure tank integrity, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained. Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Reporting &amp; Communication: Provide daily operational, quality, and safety updates to relevant stakeholders.
