Job Purpose<br>The Rental & Used (R&U) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing the operational and commercial strategy for the Rental and Used Equipment business across Prime Products. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, defining and executing a sustainable operating model, supporting Territory Business Units (BUs) with product and market expertise, and maximizing fleet performance throughout its lifecycle. The R&U Manager will lead the development of sourcing strategies for used equipment, oversee asset valuation, and ensure disciplined financial management through effective fleet optimization, cost control, and profitability enhancement across multiple business units.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Commercial & Business Development Drive Rental and Used Equipment sales growth by partnering closely with Territory Sales Managers and BU Heads, reviewing opportunities, and providing commercial and product expertise. Identify market opportunities and develop business growth strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profitability. Establish ambitious yet achievable sales targets, inventory levels, and fleet deployment plans for each territory based on market analysis and business potential. Develop and implement pricing strategies, in alignment with the Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead, to maximize competitiveness and profitability. Support territories with customer-focused solutions and value propositions tailored to local market demands.<br>Fleet & Asset Management Manage the complete lifecycle of rental and used equipment fleets, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance planning, remarketing, and disposal. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for used equipment to ensure sufficient inventory and attractive acquisition costs. Lead equipment valuation activities and establish best practices for asset pricing and disposition. Monitor fleet utilization and optimize asset allocation across business units to maximize return on investment.<br>Financial Management Hold full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the Rental & Used business. Drive financial performance through effective cost management, fleet utilization optimization, margin enhancement, and capital efficiency. Ensure strong financial discipline, including management of finance charges, asset productivity, and inventory control. Collaborate with CoE and Business Units to achieve margin and profitability objectives.<br>Operational Excellence Design and continuously improve operating models, business processes, systems, and policies to support organizational objectives and sustainable growth. Enhance management reporting, business intelligence, and information flow to support informed decision-making.
