<p><br></p><p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br>Accountable for the delivery and verification of all projects. Responsible for the safe and successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. Deliver project s activities according to company standards. Manage risks in conformance with Risk Management Practice.</li><li>15% Functional Standards<br>Implement company standards for projects delivery. Ensure integration of projects delivery and verification at a project level. Implement a rigorous project governance process, from acceptance to handover. Determine need for additional technical support for projects. Ensure learning is captured into learning plans for projects.</li><li>10% Contractors Management<br>Manage Contractor s performance to cost, schedule, quality and safety. Provide technical oversight of contractor engineering and processes. Establish control interface requirements with contractors.</li><li>10% Health, Safety and Environment<br>Deliver projects safely, with no harm to people nor damage to the environment. Ensure health, safety and environment issues have been addressed in the projects portfolio through all project life cycle.</li><li>5% Coaching, Training and Mentoring:<br>Actively contribute to the development of staff. Support department staff in meeting needs for employee training, development and skill gap closure. Coach employees in order to build their knowledge and skills. Mentor staff to ensure appropriate succession management. Motivate employees by encouraging, recognizing and rewarding superior performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Candidates must have a m inimum of 15 years experience in Projects Engineering, Construction and Management in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry. The Deputy Drilling Manager leads drilling, completion, and workover operations within the JV, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective program delivery. The role owns technical performance, HSES compliance, budgets, contractor management, and well integrity throughout the well lifecycle. It involves leading and mentoring drilling teams, driving continuous improvement. Significant leadership experience in field or plant operations, including experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Proven experience in production operations, asset integrity, maintenance, HSEQ, shutdowns, and operational risk management. Experience in managing major operational activities, projects, start-ups, shutdowns, or well-related activities is highly desirable. Strong understanding of process safety, risk management, emergency response, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated experience in budget management and operational cost control. <p>Paragon is searching for an experienced General Counsel to join a well-established upstream oil and gas operator in Egypt. Reporting directly to the CEO and leading the Legal function, this is a senior leadership position with responsibility for providing strategic and commercial legal advice across the company s operations, transactions and corporate activities. The successful candidate will have extensive upstream E&P experience , with strong expertise across M&A and asset transactions, JOAs and joint ventures, upstream contracts, financing, disputes, corporate governance and risk management . The role will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team on major commercial negotiations and strategic matters, while managing external counsel and leading the internal Legal team. We are considering both local and international candidates .
