<h3>Job Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><p>Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business and production requirements.</p></li><li><p>Manage the purchasing department and supervise the procurement team.</p></li><li><p>Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Source and purchase raw materials, production materials, spare parts, and other required items.</p></li><li><p>Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Issue and review purchase orders and ensure accuracy of specifications, quantities, prices, and delivery dates.</p></li><li><p>Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and avoid production delays.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.</p></li><li><p>Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate long-term agreements when appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met.</p></li><li><p>Ensure purchased materials meet the required quality standards and technical specifications.</p></li><li><p>Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment according to production needs.</p></li><li><p>Manage purchasing budgets and control procurement costs.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures, and approval processes.</p></li><li><p>Handle local and international purchasing activities, including import requirements when applicable.</p></li><li><p>Prepare purchasing reports, supplier evaluations, cost analysis, and procurement performance reports for management.</p></li><li><p>Continuously improve procurement processes, supplier base, and purchasing efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all purchasing transactions.</p></li><li><p>Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and payment terms.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3>Job Requirements</h3><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>10 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement</strong>, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in a <strong>Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager</strong> position.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of local and international purchasing processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience in <strong>supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of <strong>ERP systems</strong> and procurement software.</p></li><li><p>Advanced knowledge of <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong> and purchasing reports.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.</p></li><li><p>Experience in purchasing <strong>raw materials, production materials, spare parts, and industrial supplies</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to control purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Excellent ability to manage multiple suppliers and purchasing activities simultaneously.</p></li><li><p>Good command of <strong>English</strong>, both written and spoken.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership and team-management skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</p></li><li><p>Experience in the <strong>footwear or manufacturing industry</strong> is highly preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p>
