<p>Overview of the job and the company</p><p>We are a leading company in the heavy equipment tires sector, focusing on marketing and supporting high-performance solutions and heavy machinery mechanisms that meet construction and infrastructure project needs in the Egyptian market. We seek to hire a Sales Engineer / Heavy Equipment to join our team in Al-Obour, Egypt, to develop relationships with our partners and clients, and to provide innovative solutions that fit their technical and financial requirements.</p><p>Key responsibilities and duties</p><ul><li>Identify sales opportunities and develop strategic plans to reach potential customers in major project and industrial sites.</li><li>Present a range of heavy equipment and provide technical and commercial recommendations according to client needs, and prepare accurate and clear proposals and contracts.</li><li>Conduct technical project assessments, coordinate supply, and follow up with after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve profitability goals.</li><li>Manage price and terms negotiations and comply with company policies and local regulatory requirements.</li><li>Follow up on financial and credit requirements and technical reviews before closing deals.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering and technical support teams to provide customized solutions and deliver demonstrations and samples when needed.</li><li>Build an up-to-date customer database, provide regular sales performance reports and market data, and offer improvement recommendations.</li></ul><p>Qualifications and requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, Civil), or a field related to the heavy market.</li><li>Experience level equivalent to 2 to 5 years in technical sales or heavy equipment sales or the construction sector.</li><li>Practical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, bulldozers, and basic transport and maintenance mechanisms.</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to build sustainable professional relationships with clients.</li><li>Good understanding of technical and financial sales processes, and ability to prepare quotes and perform cost-benefit analyses.</li><li>Proficiency in Arabic, and preferably good English for technical communications with foreign companies or suppliers.</li><li>Valid driving license and willingness to travel to job sites within Egypt as needed.</li></ul><p>Required skills</p><ul><li>Analytical skills and ability to assess clients’ technical and economic needs.</li><li>Ability to present demonstrations and provide simple technical explanations of heavy equipment.</li><li>Time management and ability to work under pressure while achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.</li><li>Strong organizational and writing skills for preparing proposals and contractual documents.</li><li>Ability to work in a team and coordinate effectively with engineering and after-sales service departments.</li></ul><p>Benefits and perks</p><ul><li>Competitive salary with performance- and sales-based incentives.</li><li>Social and health insurance, and additional insurance coverage as per company policies.</li><li>Ongoing training support and opportunities for career growth within the company.</li><li>Professional work environment and opportunities to connect with leading companies and suppliers in the market.</li></ul><p>Work environment and location</p><p>Location: Qalyubia, Egypt.
