Coordinate with maintenance to minimize breakdowns and strengthen preventive-maintenance practices. Work closely with quality, logistics, procurement, and sales to align production with customer requirements. Lead continuous-improvement activities using Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, PDCA, root-cause analysis, and waste-reduction methods. Improve workflow, changeover times, material movement, production layout, and machine efficiency. Promote strong standards for safety, housekeeping, operational discipline, and product quality. Control overtime, material consumption, production costs, and operational waste. Provide management with accurate production reports, corrective actions, and improvement plans.<br>Qualifications Minimum five years of production-management experience in corrugated packaging or a closely related industrial converting environment. Relevant experience may have been gained as a Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager. Candidates with 8–10 or more years of relevant manufacturing experience will be strongly preferred. Hands-on knowledge of corrugated-board production, flexographic printing, die-cutting, gluing, and related converting processes. Demonstrated experience implementing Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, and structured problem-solving. Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, machine utilization, quality control, and waste reduction.
