Occupation Description The Facility Management Senior Manager gives primary oversight and direction for City Edge’s Facilities and Physical Security operations for all sites, including ensuring management and execution of hard and soft services and projects are provided in accordance with operational and financial targets. He/she will drive continuous improvement across all responsibilities, and all assigned sites, develop and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure facilities needs are understood and met in the most effective and efficient manner, and also develop and lead facilities team to ensure full engagement and provide consistent, predictable results for business operations.<br>Job Location Split between El Sheikh Zayed and Alamein<br>Job Scope Manage KPI's and SLA's with focus on optimizing service delivery and attention to the improvement of process, systems, tools and equipment. Design the implementation of efficient operation solutions based on pioneering technology. Oversee financial and technical matters with a focus on performance of services delivered. Draft and submit Financial Budgets for each trade of the assigned scope. Focus on the customers and their stakeholders to deliver exceptional service, adding solutions and identifying innovative added value business opportunities that complement the services already being delivered. Support the preparation of new opportunities with reviewing the organization structure, technical specifications, and financial parameters. Ensure contract compliance with the company's policies and regulations on Quality, Environment and Health & Safety. Establish OPEX & CAPEX budgets in accordance with the operations requirement. Monitor & continuously conduct operational audits to ensure achieving the strategic approaches. Establish a cut-off date to start contract renewal, monitor scope with department heads, and procurement negotiations with vendors with oversight on budget parameters. Review tenders/benchmarking and comparative statements. Responsible for managing the overall performance of the Operations team. Provide leadership by developing and implementing operational strategies & increase organizational effectiveness by ensuring the growth and development of all employees. Develop direct reports to ensure succession plans to support future company requirements and employee career objectives. Monitor Daily Reports and flag issues to department heads where necessary and customize solutions to repetitive challenges. Job Description<br>Reports to: Project Director<br>Location: North Coast – Egypt (On-site)<br>Industry: Urban Development / Infrastructure / Real Estate/coastal and Marine projects<br>The Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for forming, developing, negotiating, and managing the full suite of contracts required for the successful delivery of South Med program. This includes construction, infrastructure, utilities, wave-breaker, coastal developments, artificial bays, Marina, ensuring the project meets its cost, schedule, and quality objectives while complying with legal and regulatory frameworks.<br>Responsibilities<br>Develop and administer all contract documents from the tender process through to contract closeout including variations and issue resolution for design, construction, and other project related contracts. Ensure that the requirements of the contract documents are implemented and maintained throughout the project duration. Lead the review and assessment of claims, disputes and variations. Interact with the Client representatives, the Project Management Consultant, and relevant Contractors in respect of all contractual matters. Assist in the drafting of commercial terms for design, engineering and/or construction services Prepare the contractual (front end) portion of the contract documents (while cursory reviewing the technical portion) to ensure congruity and to minimize patent ambiguities in the front end documents. Administration of on-going Contracts. Investigate contractual problems and recommend corrective action in accordance with the Contract. Prepare correspondence and maintain records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all contractual matters Prepare Contract variations. Administer contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to contractors. Ensures that all warranties, bonds, insurances, guarantees, etc. are in place and maintained and updated in accordance with the Contract. Prepare for review Recommendations for Release of Retention and Bonds. Participate in the preparation of the contractual portion of the monthly Progress Reports. JOB PURPOSETo revise on the project’s required materials and coordinate with Procurement, Purchasing, Technical Office and Warehouse Departments to ensure the availability of project requirements of materials according to the project schedule. Roles & Responsibilities Prepare/ modify/ update Material Histogram/ Delivery Duration from Suppliers & Subcontractors in order to have the adequate materials on the required time for operation/ execution while avoiding any cash flow issues or lack of materials Receive material submittal from TPD and Purchasing Department and follow up with technical office to review the materials’ specifications in order to prepare submittal form to be reviewed and approved by the Consultant. Coordinate with main warehouse to alert them whenever extra/ not needed materials are available and to check if the required materials are already available before ordering them. Audit preparation of cash flow for the assigned projects according to the previous defined cost reports. Highlight and clarify claims regarding cost and schedule of the projects to Project Managers. Manage the implementation of the new project controls systems (software) in the assigned projects. Ensure the generation of different levels of reports in terms of cost, schedules, and documents of the assigned projects. Review and consolidate weekly and monthly status reports of cost, schedule, documents, resources and productivity for the assigned projects and provide input to the Business Unit Director. Job purpose: Ensures effective project planning and monitoring by preparing schedules, tracking progress, analyzing risks, supporting claims, and updating forecasts, providing management with actionable insights for timely and successful project delivery.
