Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process across all three entities, ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are consistently met Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across KSA, UAE, and Egypt in line with IFRSPerform and review balance-sheet reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved within set timelines Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation schedules, and asset register accuracy Accounts Payable, Receivable & Cash Management Provide oversight and quality control over AP/AR functions managed by the team (not personal transaction entry) Monitor cash flow and working capital across entities; flag risks proactively to senior management Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure timely, accurate intercompany reconciliations Tax & Statutory Compliance Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabia's ZATCA requirements, including VAT filings and e-invoicing (Fatoora) obligations Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT filing requirements Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax law, e-invoicing/e-receipt requirements, and statutory reporting obligations Coordinate with payroll and HR on GOSI, WPS, and Egyptian social insurance accounting entries (oversight, not execution) Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities across all three markets Controls, Process & Systems Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies across all entities Own the accounting configuration and data integrity within our ERP system (currently Odoo), and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate historical data and variance analysis (ownership sits with Finance leadership; this role provides the accounting foundation) Team Leadership Directly manage, coach, and develop the accounting team across the three markets, including performance reviews and capability building Set clear standards for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance within the team Build succession and cross-training so no single country's close depends on one person Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with senior management to deliver clear, accurate management reporting and financial analysis Work closely with HR/Payroll, Legal, and Operations to ensure accounting entries reflect underlying business and compliance realities Qualifications & Experience Must-Have Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field10+ years total accounting experience, with 3+ years in a supervisory/managerial capacity Proven ownership of month-end and year-end close for at least one full entity Direct hands-on experience with at least two of: KSA, UAE, Egypt accounting and tax environments Solid working knowledge of IFRSPractical VAT/tax compliance experience in the GCC and/or Egypt Experience with a mid-to-large ERP system ( Odoo is preferred) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliation modeling, large dataset handling) Experience managing external audit relationships and audit fieldwork Experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements across multiple entities Fluent business English (written and spoken) Preferred Qualifications CMA, ACCA, CPA, or SOCPA certification (or actively pursuing) Experience in a Saa S, tech, or multinational shared-services environment Prior experience managing a distributed/remote accounting team across countries

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field. Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating learning programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives. Strong understanding of competency frameworks, career levels, individual development plans, and performance enablement. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the confidence to advise managers, senior leaders, and founders. Strong organizational and project-management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously. A high level of ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail. Practical experience measuring program effectiveness and turning people data into meaningful actions. Strong AI fluency, including the ability to use tools such as Claude or similar platforms to research, design, and improve learning programs.
