<p>The Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will act as the main technical owner for all mechanical maintenance activities across the university, supported by the existing supervisors, technicians and service providers.<br>The scope of this position will include, but will not be limited to:<br>• HVAC systems, including chillers, VRV, VRF and split units. <br>• Elevators and vertical transportation systems. <br>• Pumps and pumping stations. <br>• Water supply and drainage systems. <br>• Ventilation, fresh air and exhaust systems. <br>• Mechanical firefighting systems, in coordination with the concerned departments. <br>• Other mechanical assets and utility systems across the university. <br>The recommended candidate profile is as follows:<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. <br>• Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and facilities management. <br>• Strong practical experience in HVAC systems, especially chillers, VRV, VRF and split units. <br>• Previous experience in elevator maintenance follow-up, contractor coordination, recurring-failure investigation, safety requirements and load-testing procedures. <br>• Strong experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. <br>• Ability to review technical reports, quotations, spare parts and contractor recommendations. <br>• Experience in CAFM/CMMS systems, work-order management and maintenance reporting. <br>• Previous experience in large facilities such as universities, hospitals, hotels, malls, airports or similar complex operations is preferred. <br>Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.<br>For further information, please contact the Human Resources Department (hr@guc.edu.eg).<br></p><br> </div>
