About the Job:<br>The General Assembly Engineer is responsible for planning, optimizing, and supporting assembly operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of vehicles/products according to quality standards and production targets. The role focuses on process improvement, problem-solving, productivity enhancement, and implementation of manufacturing best practices within the General Assembly area.<br>Responsibilities:<br>Health, Safety & Environment Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and procedures. Promote a strong safety culture and proactively identify and mitigate risks. Support ergonomic evaluations and workplace safety initiatives. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Production Support:Drive accountability for performance, discipline, and adherence to operational standards. Monitor daily assembly operations and ensure production targets are achieved. Ensure consistent delivery of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) objectives. Support line balancing and manpower optimization activities. Ensure smooth production flow and minimize downtime. Coordinate with production supervisors to resolve operational issues. Lead immediate response to production issues, including line stoppages and bottlenecks. Process Improvement:Analyze assembly processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and waste reduction initiatives. Conduct cycle time studies and optimize workstation layouts. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions. Built In Quality:Ensure production output meets defined quality standards and customer expectations. Investigate assembly defects and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support root cause analysis activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and PDCA. Work closely with Quality Engineers to improve Direct Run Rate and reduce rework. Ensure compliance with product quality standards and customer requirements. Equipment and Tool Management: Support installation and commissioning of assembly equipment and tooling. Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the Maintenance team. Evaluate tooling requirements and recommend improvements. Project Management Participate in new model launches and production ramp-up activities. Support manufacturing feasibility studies and process validation. Coordinate engineering changes and process updates. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report assembly KPIs, including: Productivity Efficiency Throughput Defect Rate Rework Rate Downtime Prepare technical reports and presentations for management review.<br>Qualifications:<br>Bachelor’s degree in Automotive engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations. Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred. Six Sigma Certification is preferred. (Yellow Belt or Green Belt). IATF 16949 Background is preferred.

About the Job:<br>Body Shop Production Engineer is responsible for the implementation of production processes related to assigned Body welding Line, by leading Line team leaders and operators to achieve production KPIs according to standards. Candidate shall demonstrate strict adherence to safety protocols, high-quality process possible, ensuring no dimensional or welding defect is built in Body Shop line. <br><br>Responsibilities: Safety:Enforce a strict safety culture in a high-risk environment involving robotics, high-voltage equipment, hoists and welding operations. Ensure full compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for him and his team. Enforce a zero-tolerance policy for bypassing safety controls on robotics and welding equipment. Cost:Optimize consumable usage (welding wire, gas) and reduce scrap/rework to minimize cost. Control proper usage of PPEs to optimize the consumption rate.<br> Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Welding) or a related field.1-3 years of experience in an automotive Production Body Shop. Strong technical knowledge of spot welding, bonding technologies, and geometric dimensioning is essential. Experience with CKD body assembly processes (working with pre-formed sub-assemblies).
