<br>Manage and coordinate all customs clearance activities for the company’s imports and exports, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and laws, reducing clearance time, and supporting smooth movement of goods and raw materials.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>* Coordinate and follow up on all customs clearance procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments.<br>* Communicate and coordinate with the customs authority, shipping companies, freight forwarders, ports, airports, and logistics service providers.<br>* Prepare, review, and submit all customs documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and other related documents.<br>* Monitor inspection, examination, and release processes to ensure speedy completion of shipments.<br>* Ensure compliance with Egyptian customs laws and regulations and related government requirements.<br>* Coordinate with competent government authorities such as the Customs Authority, the General Authority for Export and Import Control, the General Authority for Industrial Development, and other regulatory bodies as needed.<br>* Monitor shipment status and provide periodic reports to management and concerned departments.<br>* Address issues related to customs clearance, resolve delays and penalties, and any document discrepancies or problems.<br>* Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions, duties and taxes, and shipping documents.<br>* Maintain ongoing coordination with purchasing, supply chain, finance, and warehouses to ensure smooth operations.<br>* Monitor customs duties, exemptions, and applicable trade agreements to help improve costs where possible.<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>* University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Trade, or related field.<br>* Proven experience in customs clearance or import/export operations or logistics services.<br>* Good knowledge of Egyptian customs laws and procedures and shipping and clearance documents.<br>* Experience dealing with customs authorities, ports, and shipping companies and agents.<br>* Preference for familiarity with the “Nafath” platform and digital clearance systems.<br>* Solid understanding of international trade laws and import/export operations.<br>* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.<br>* Ability to work under pressure and manage more than one shipment simultaneously.<br>* Proficiency in English, with mastery of Microsoft Office programs
