<p><strong>JOB TITLE</strong><br>Development Director – Residential (Midar) | MAF Properties | Egypt Portfolio<br><strong>ROLE SUMMARY</strong><br>The Development Director of Communities is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of master-planned community projects within the DBU portfolio, ensuring that every development phase from initial concept and feasibility to construction and handover is executed to the highest standards of quality, financial control, and stakeholder alignment.<br><strong>ROLE PROFILE</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Lead the full lifecycle of assigned community development projects, from pre-concept through design, procurement, construction, and handover.</li><li>Oversee infrastructure coordination, utilities planning, and phasing strategies to support multi-phase community delivery.</li><li>Support the evaluation of new development opportunities and pipeline projects, working with Strategy, Finance, and COE teams to validate market demand, cost assumptions, and ROI projections.</li><li>Contribute to early-stage feasibility and master plan evaluations, providing recommendations to the Development Owner for portfolio prioritization.</li><li>Manage appointed consultants and contractors to ensure delivery of design documentation, tender packages, and technical submittals that meet MAF’s quality and sustainability standards.</li><li>Review design progress and coordinate with Design Studio (DS) and Design Management (DM) teams to ensure seamless integration between master plans, infrastructure, and architectural elements.</li><li>Coordinate closely with internal functions including Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to ensure delivery alignment with business, regulatory, and commercial requirements.</li><li>Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans in collaboration with the Finance and Commercial teams.</li></ul><p><br><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or Real Estate Development.</li><li>10–15 years of experience in real estate development or master-planned community projects, including at least 5 years in a leadership or delivery management role.</li><li>Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, infrastructure coordination, and residential project phasing.</li><li>Execution-focused strategist with strong commercial and technical acumen, delivering high-quality results, proactively mitigating risks, and driving business objectives forward.</li><li>Collaborative and influential leader who builds strong stakeholder partnerships, aligns teams around priorities, and ensures successful outcomes through effective communication and a commitment to quality.</li></ul> <br> </div>
