<h4>Overview of the role</h4>
<p>The IFB Commercial Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and supply of all national IKEA FOOD products. The role involves optimizing supply chain efficiency and ensuring adherence to IKEA's purchasing processes and standards. The supervisor works closely with the IKEA Food Manager and other stakeholders to meet operational needs and ensure that stocks are ordered efficiently and are up to standard, taking part in audits and ensuring vendor quality and safety measures.</p>
<h4>What you will do</h4>
<strong>Operational responsibilities</strong><br>
<li>Execute efficient and cost-effective purchasing of food, beverage, general, and operating equipment according to IKEA FOOD requirements.</li>
<li>Liaise with IKEA Food Manager and Kitchen Production Manager to secure all F&B requirements and provide alternatives, economical order quantity, and set the par stock levels for all items.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to proper operating standards in the areas of purchasing, receiving, store, and goods issuing.</li>
<li>Maintain vendor performance file to ensure quality and consistency.</li>
<li>Conduct regular vendor inspections in partnership with Health & Safety leader and culinary leadership.</li>
<li>Follow IKEA purchasing policies and ensure product purchases are supported with three quotations for quality and price comparison approved by the Regional SO Team.</li>
<li>Thoroughly scrutinize receiving of all F&B items to ensure safety measures.</li>
<li>Implement monthly IFB stock takes according to set guidelines and prepare monthly discrepancy reports with follow-up control measures.</li>
<li>Work out quick solutions in case of overstock and/or shortage of products.</li>
<li>Recognize and build key relationships with matrix partners and ensure effective communication flow with all relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Process and document suppliers' requisitions in the NAVISON system.</li>
<li>Ensure cleanliness and organization of the IFB supplies and storages.</li>
<li>Ensure day-to-day functions of storekeepers are carried out in the department.</li>
<li>Familiarize with global food certifications and contribute to menu development considering sustainable and certified resources.</li>
