Skill Set: Helpdesk Support Technician Level 1Days per week: 5 days per week Language: Egyptian & English Location: 6th of October City, Egypt Contract: B2B/Freelance Roll Type: FTE<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>1) Desktop, laptop, and peripheral basic troubleshooting (Windows, mac OS, Linux OS, printers, mobile phones etc.)2) Provisioning and deprovisioning of corporate devices (laptops, phones)3) Replace broken devices with temporary devices in accordance with Ericsson’s processes4) Provide technical guidance to end users for day-to-day IT issues within the office environment5) Coordinate with L2 teams when troubleshooting (examples L2 end user computing team, EMM).<br>Office IT Infrastructure Support<br>1) Perform on office infra basic troubleshooting, installation, or maintenance for EIT services (printing, connectivity, platform, voice)2) Install, test, and remove basic network devices such as switches, routers, and access points - this includes Support for Site/CORE Equipment inside office example but not limited Out of band, FW, NAC, DNS, Secnet3) Network connectivity basic troubleshooting (example Wi-Fi, LAN)4) On prem support for smart metering as well as other real estate solutions within office environments, including smart office sensors, smart metering and digital signage.5) Basic tasks for PABXs where applicable in coordination with L2 teams6) Print equipment receipt, install, and test the printer.7) AV equipment receipt, testing, and basic troubleshooting in coordination with remote AV support.8) Workplace monitor deployment, testing, and logistics handling9) Provide support to remote Level 2 teams by troubleshooting and configuring local office infrastructure equipment in accordance with established instructions.10) Onsite assistance during scheduled maintenance or escalations (as coordinated by Client)11) Coordinate with vendors or local service providers for repairs and equipment replacements as needed.12) Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions to ensure effective knowledge sharing within the team.13) Escort 3rd party providers to Ericsson local data room (local network provider, global print provider/partner, global video provider/partner)14) Assist during internal/external audits & SOX and other compliance"<br>Asset Management<br>1) Receive, unbox, and register devices in the hardware asset management system in accordance with Ericsson procedures2) Tag /Label assets following Ericsson’s guidelines3) Test devices upon arrival & store securely in provided facilities (may include mounting/demounting in racks).4) Image in stock devices with latest approved OS images5) Update records regularly to maintain accurate inventory information.6) Perform periodic audits of hardware assets to ensure compliance with asset management policies following instructions. ROLE: We are looking for a Broadcast Technician to support the setup and operation of live streaming broadcasts, especially for sports and live events. The role will be responsible for connecting broadcast equipment, configuring live streams, monitoring quality, and troubleshooting technical issues during broadcasts. Understanding of video encoding, bitrate, resolution, FPS, codecs, and latency. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as bandwidth, latency, packet loss, and connectivity. Good technical knowledge of broadcast workflows, video signal flow, audio systems, and live streaming technologies. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure during live productions. Experience with sports broadcasting or live events is a plus. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required. Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts. And prioritize tasks during live operations.<br>RESPONSIBILITIES:Set up and configure cameras, PTZ cameras, audio equipment, and encoders. Connect cameras to encoders and configure the complete camera-to-stream workflow. Configure live streams including resolution, frame rate, bitrate, codec, audio, and keyframe settings. Understand and work with streaming protocols such as RTMP, SRT, and HLS. Understand basic video formats and technologies including SDI, HDMI, NDI, and IP video. Monitor live streams for video/audio quality, stability, bitrate, and latency. Troubleshoot issues related to cameras, audio, encoders, network connectivity, and streaming. Perform technical checks before live events and ensure all equipment is ready. Monitor network performance, including upload bandwidth, latency, and packet loss. Support backup solutions such as 4G/5G, secondary internet connections, and backup equipment. Coordinate with the technical and content teams during live events.
