The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for utility-scale Solar PV and renewable energy projects.<br>The ideal candidate shall have strong experience in tendering, cost estimation, proposal preparation, and technical evaluation of Solar PV projects, with the ability to develop competitive bids for EPC projects.<br>Key Responsibilities:• Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and employer requirements.• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Solar PV and renewable energy projects.• Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and pricing for Solar PV plants and related electrical systems.• Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, subcontractors, and internal departments to obtain competitive quotations.• Evaluate technical and commercial risks and identify value engineering opportunities.• Prepare bid clarifications and respond to client technical queries.• Participate in contract review and pre-award negotiations.• Support business development activities related to renewable energy opportunities.• Maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and lessons learned from previous projects.<br>Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tendering and estimation of Solar PV or renewable energy projects.• Proven experience in utility-scale Solar PV projects is mandatory.• Good knowledge of Solar PV systems, DC and AC electrical systems, inverters, trackers, cabling systems, and grid connection requirements.• Strong understanding of EPC project execution and cost structure.• Experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals for international tenders.• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tender deadlines.<br>Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).• Familiarity with PVSyst or similar solar design software.• Experience in international renewable energy tenders is an advantage.<br>If interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
