Maintenance Engineer – Earthmoving Equipment Location: Borg El Arab, Alexandria, Egypt Department: Fleet Maintenance Employment Type: Full-Time<br>Position Overview The Maintenance Engineer (Earthmoving Equipment) is responsible for directing maintenance operations, advanced diagnostics, and component rebuilding for heavy machinery. The primary focus of this role is to ensure maximum fleet availability, operational reliability, and strict adherence to manufacturer overhaul standards across the company’s contracting projects.<br>Key Accountabilities:Supervise major overhauls and technical repairs across heavy earthmoving fleets, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, and dump trucks. Lead technical rebuilds of internal combustion diesel engines, power-shift transmissions, torque converters, and high-pressure hydraulic components. Execute systematic diagnostics using manufacturer service tools and hydraulic test benches to perform root-cause failure analyses. Supervise Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and rigorous operational testing before asset mobilization to active construction sites. Inspect and evaluate returning machinery post-demobilization to schedule required overhauls and control turnaround schedules. Role Description The VRF Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Rawash - Giza. The VRF Service Engineer will be responsible for commissioning, diagnosing, and repairing VRF air conditioning systems at customer sites, ensuring reliable operation and optimal performance. Daily tasks include conducting system inspections, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, providing technical support and guidance to customers and dealers, and preparing service reports and documentation. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, coordinating field visits, and adhering to safety standards and company procedures. The VRF Service Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives by reporting recurring issues and recommending technical solutions. Qualifications Strong Troubleshooting skills for VRF systems, including fault diagnosis and problem resolution. Proficiency in Field Service activities, such as on-site commissioning, testing, and customer visits. Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, contractors, and internal teams. Experience in Technical Support for HVAC equipment, including remote and on-site assistance. Hands-on Maintenance & Repair skills for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
